"Lily" I shout trying to catch her
"Noooo!" She screams running downstairs
"Derek!" I yell to my fiancé
"What?" He yells back
"Grab Lily" I yell
"Why is everybody yelling?" Kat yells with Kyle in her arms
"Here you go" Derek laughs handing me Lily
She whines as I walk her back into the bathroom where I was trying to shower her and Luke, Kat puts down Kyle and he runs over to Lily
"He likes her" Kat smiles
"A little too much" I laugh pouring a little bit of water over Luke and Lily
"So have you guys picked a date yet?" Kat asks putting Kyle on her lap
"We just got engaged" I answer "I don't want to get married right away"
"Are you serious? If I got engaged I would immediately start planning right away" Kat says
"I don't want to be stressed out the whole year of being engaged by planning a wedding, I want to enjoy it" I shrug washing Luke and Lily's hair
"Well, I guess" she mumbles "you have a weird way of thinking"
"Not weird, just different" I laugh grabbing a towel and drying off Luke as Lily sits in the tub waiting for me
I hand Luke to Kat and she dries him off while I grab Lily and dry her off, Kyle walks over to us sitting in front of Lily
I get up leaving Lily there while I grab outfits for them, I grab black onesies and pick up Lily. I bring her into the nursery and lay her on the changing station, I put a diaper on her and put on her onesie
I set her down watching her crawl over to Kyle, I laugh shaking my head as I grab Luke from Kat putting a diaper on him then putting on his onesie
"Gosh their so cute" Kat coos
"Well they are my kids" I laugh picking them up and walking downstairs
"Oh shut up" she laughs walking with Kyle in her arms
"Babe!" I call out walking into the living room
I put the twins down and grab some toys that they could play with, I walk into the kitchen with Kat seeing Derek cooking dinner
"What?" He asks turning around
"How's it coming along?" I ask grabbing a water bottle from the fridge
"Good, what time is Nate and Jami going to be here?" He asks putting chicken into the oven
"Around 6, you still have a lot of time" I mumble, I turn to Kat asking "what time is John coming?"
"Around 5:30" she shrugs
"MOMMY!" I hear Luke scream
I run into the living room seeing Luke holding his eye crying his little heart out and Kyle holding a toy, I gasp and run over Luke pulling him into a hug
"It's ok baby, mommys here" I mumble pulling away to kiss his eye
"Boo b-oo huwrt, mommy" he hiccups
"I know baby" I pick him up bringing him into the kitchen so I could put and ice bag on it
I hear Kat scold Kyle and put him on a time out, Lily runs into the kitchen tapping my leg, I look down and see her outstretch her hands telling me to pick her up
"What's wrong buddy?" Derek asks picking up Luke
"Eye huwrt" he mumbles laying his head on Derek's shoulder
I pick up Lily and watch as she watches Luke with a sad expression on her face, her lip quivers and tears fill her eyes
"It's alright Lily, Luke's ok" I say kissing her cheek
"Lulu alwight?" She asks calling Luke by his nickname
"I'm alwight" he mumbles from Derek's shoulder
"See he's alright" I say shaking her back and forth
"Sorry 'bout that" Kat apologizes walking into the kitchen
"It's alright" I laugh putting Lily down
"That little boy just loves to cause trouble" Kat laughs shaking her head
"You ready to come done?" I ask Luke
He shakes his head no and puts his head back down, I bribe him with a lollipop and he immediately nods his head

"Sorry I'm a bit late" John says walking into the kitchen
"DADDY!" Kyle screams running to John
"Hey Kye" he says picking him up
"Where were you?" Kat asks kissing him
"Handing with Nate and them, they should be here soon" he mumbles sitting down
"Daddy!" Luke yells running to Derek
"Yah?" He asks picking him up
"Whens daddy coming?" He asks referring to Nate
"Soon buddy, you have to wait a little while longer" he smiles kissing his cheek
"Okway" he smiles kissing Derek's cheek
Derek puts him down and Lily runs in, she says hi to John and walks over to Derek asking him to pick her up. I coo watching her whisper in Derek's ear, he whispers back in her ear making her giggle, he puts her down to finish cooking
She runs back into the living room and Kyle jumps off of Johns lap and runs with her, John laughs and wraps his arm around Kat
"I think he has a crush on Lily" he laughs
"That's what I said" Kat says
I hear knocks on the door so I get up and open the door seeing Nate and Jami
"Hey guys" I cheer hugging and kissing them on the cheek
"I'm ready to eat!" Nate says rubbing his hands together
"DADDY!!" "MOMMY" Luke and Lily yell running over to Nate and Jami
"Hey Luke" Nate says picking up Luke while Jami picks up Lily
"Let's eat" I smile leading them into the dinning room
We all sit down as Derek puts the food on the table than sat down next to me, after we say grace Derek says
"Alright everyone dig in!"

Gah!! Mia and Derek are engaged!!! I don't think I'm going to write the wedding tho 😬, I'm going to be skipping a lot in the next chapters
