Screams and pleas for help beckon through the street. The thudding of feet could be heard on the cold, wet pavement as the innocents run from the bloodlust girl.
Eyes began to glow scarlet-red, as she calls forth her ability."Beneath Time: Motionless." Her voice whips through the brisk air.
Screams were muted, movement on halt. The atmosphere became lifeless. Time itself felt like it was paved in ice.
Placing her hand on her sword, she coils her slender fingers around the handle as she slowly unsheathes her blade.
She swiftly moves to each human-frozen statues with ease, as cuts form on the unaware victim's body.
Blood splattered across her face as each precision cut was made.
As she approaches the last remaining person, she points the tip of the sword towards the frozen body and swung her blade one last time, across the neck, precision never faltering.
Sliding the sword back into the scabbard, she sheaths her blade once more from the world.
Scarlet-red radiating eyes fades back to the normal state of color, as time began to flow its normal pace.
Loud thumps resonated behind her as the bodies collide to ground. Black pavement painted crimson red by the blood spilling out of the victim's bodies.
A certain familiar presence approaches the girl as she cleans herself up from the slightly dried-up blood visible on her face.
"Are you finished here?" A male voice reaches to the girl's ears, earning a nod as a response to his question.
"How many?" The male questions her again.
As she responds to the question, she cocks her head to look at her work: "12." She vaguely responded.
Eyes scanned the massacre in front of her.
No remorse. No regret. No emotion visible on her features. She felt nothing to the deaths she made.
That was how she was raised to be in this messed up world.
"Good work, (F/n)." The male praised her.
She turns her head back to greet her superior. Her sheer cold eyes locked on to the pair of emotionless, mahogany hues.
Eyes shot open while she sprang up from under the covers of her bedsheets.
(F/n)'s breaths became heavy. She breathed in and out all the air surrounding her at a rapid pace.
Placing her hand on her chest, near her heart, she clutches her shirt with a tight grip. Droplets of sweat formed on her face.
As minutes went by, she began to calm down, but she soon recalls the nightmare she had of her past life.
The eyes that once shown no trace of remorse and regret painfully begins to emit the very emotions.
