"Hunt a tiger..?" Panic floods in his voice, hooking the attention of the three detectives towards his shaken physique.
[F/n]'s [e/c] eyes turn vaguely dull, narrowing for a moment as she analyzes the strange reaction of Atsushi's, lips formed a firm, thin line. She perceived a stronger sense of suspicion.
She removes her probing eyes from Atsushi and adverts to Dazai's calming figure in front of her. The surface of his eyes and calming behavior shows no alteration as he continues the conversation.
Dazai's slim body leans in towards the table, resting his chin on the palm of his hand. His eyelids lowered as his features devoid any emotion towards the situation. "There's a man-eating tiger that's been rampaging around town recently."
"It ran wild into a warehouse, ate all the produce of a certain field... Essentially, it's been doing whatever it wants."
[F/n] kept her head slightly down and facing forward, quietly observing Atsushi's shaken physique from her peripheral vision. "It was sighted around here recently, though-"
Dazai's sentence was completely stopped as a thud of a chair reverberate the shop. Atsushi stood, looking at them with a face filled with sheer horror. His body was paralyzed as if he was a deer caught in the headlights of a car. At the spur of the moment, his body instinctively got ready to dash out of the cafe but [F/n] intercepted his get-away. She instantaneously stood up from her seat, she grasps the back of his shirt and harshly pinned his chest to the ground with a piercing thud. "Where are you going, boy?" Her voice is bitterly crisp as the question departs from her lips.
Atsushi squirms frantically under the hold of [F/n]. He lets out frustrated screams and pleads to be unhanded. "I must be taking my leave r-right about now!" Atsushi's voice filled with dismay, his eyes locked on his escape route.
[F/n]'s fingers slither her way in the tufts of his hair, pulling his head slightly back towards her face. His gold and wisteria hues gaze with fear of the detective. Her mouth slightly brushes the lobe of his ear, as she speaks, her breath trickled down his neck, sending cold shivers down his spine. "Oh my, why so soon? Where must you go so suddenly?" Voice laced with poison, "Weren't you kicked out of the orphanage? You have no where-"
Before finishing, Dazai rested his hand on her shoulder. "That's enough [F/n]."
Her eyes narrowed towards Atsushi, no longer talking."Now boy, why are you so frightened?" Dazai asked calmly.
Slightly yelled back, Atsushi responds to Dazai "You-you can't defeat it!"
Kunikida stands up from his chair, head tilting down, looking down at Atsushi. "You know of the man-eating tiger?"
"It's after me. It's here to kill me!" Atsushi becomes restless and starts pushing on [F/n] to escape, but she pins down all his limbs with her body.
"If it is around here, I must run-""As we stated before," [F/n] started coldly, "We at the Armed Detective Agency Company specialized in these types of cases."
[F/n] leans in towards Atsushi's ear and slightly whispered but enough for those close to hear, "Shall I break your arm in compensation for the chazuke Kunikida gratefully paid for you, or will you speak?"
"My dear Delilah, calm down and release him. We should question him calmly to receive the information, right? What we always said to do." Dazai's coos calmly to [F/n].
After a minute of processing, [F/n] scoffs and roughly release her grip on Atsushi. Standing on her feet and wiping the dust off her clothes, she collects herself, seeing that spectators are cautiously staring at this outbreak. "Move along folks, nothing to see here." She spits venomously.
