Harry's POV
It's been a week since Wren and I kissed. And ever since then, she hasn't escaped my brain. I woke up this morning with her head on my chest and her hair sprawled out around her face. Since she didn't have a guest bedroom or an air mattress, I had to sleep on the other side of her king size bed. You would've thought that a bed that big would mean that each of us gets enough space, but every night for the past week, I've woken up with my arm slung around Wren's waist.
I could see Niall's apartment through the morning haze of fog. The skies of London were dark and gloomy, the presence of a storm coming. When I reached the steps, I knocked and waited for a response. The brick color was fading and just in general, the building looked like it was falling apart at the seams.
I could see someone walking to the door. It swung open and there stood Niall with his thick glasses and white tank top. "Hey, Harry," he said in his Irish accent.
"Can I come in? I've gotta talk to someone, and I want it to be you." I shoved my hands into the pockets of my black skinny jeans. They were extra tight today; maybe a little too tight. It felt like my member was slowly suffocating. "Something happened."
By the tone of my voice, Niall's blue eyes widened, and he stepped aside so I could walk into his house. "What happened? Something with your Father or your Mum?"
I shook my head and squeezed my eyelids closed. Pinching the bridge of my nose, I finally began to speak. "It's about Wren," I mumbled.
Niall walked towards the small kitchen in the corner of the room and handed me a glass of water. I made my way to the living room and plopped myself down on the raggedy couch. "Go on," Niall said, obviously interested in what I had to say.
"We kissed." I took a deep breath and looked over at him. "We were having a fight when I moved into her house about her boyfriend," I scoffed at the mention of him. "And I told her that she was worth so much more than him." I could tell Niall didn't know what I was talking about, because I haven't spoken to him in a few days. "So then she just kissed me after I said what she deserves. I know it's crazy but she's burned into my brain. Her image is burned into my fucking brain."
Niall furrowed his eyebrows and leaned towards me. "Wait, back up. I'm super confused right now."
"I figured," I said, cracking a small smile.
"Well then can you tell me what's going on?"
I nodded and took a sip of the water. It was cold and calmed my scratchy throat when I swallowed. "You know how my Father beats me?"
He nodded.
"Well, I told myself that I wasn't going to deal with it anymore so I packed and went to Wren's place. She surprisingly said that I could stay for a whole month. So after I unpacked, we just kind of sat there on her bed and talked. It was nice for a while until she brought up her boyfriend." I frowned again. "Apparently he's this wealthy business man and Wren told me herself that she hates business and money. So I told her that she was worth so much more and then she just...came up to me and kissed me. And it was amazing." I found myself whispering so I didn't know if Niall could hear me but when I looked over at him, his mouth was open wide with shock. "Dude, close your damn mouth," I chuckled.
"Oh sorry. But, wow, she kissed you? And you're staying at her place for a month? What are you gonna do?" Niall asked.
I shrugged. "I have no flipping clue." I interlaced my fingers together and stared down at my rings and cross tattoo that was inked onto my left hand.
"Well, you could stay here," Niall suggested. "I mean, if you can't get her out of your head, then stay away from her for a while. Go out with other girls, hang with your friends. You know?"
