"Can I.. can I go back to Ohio with you when you leave?" She asked, looking like she immediately regretted it. As if I would say no.
"Yeah, absolutely. Do you plan to stay or is it a visit?" I asked.
"I want to stay. I just think it's time for me to go somewhere else, You know? Get my own apartment." I nodded.
"You can stay with me as long as you need to," I suggested with a smile.
"Thank you! Seriously, thanks," she said.
We carried on with our ice cream amd chats, but I couldn't get the thought of her as my roommate out of my head.
Maybe I can convince her to stay.
