"What do ye mean InuYasha you haven't lost control since then."

I nod. "You're right I haven't since then, but I did before then.."

Both woman stare at me in shock.

"After my Mother was killed I went back to see if maybe she had survived, the men who killed her waited for me they shouted horrible things at me which I was used to but when they spoke wrong of my Mother I lost it..."

"Do ye remember killing them?"

I shake my head softly. "No, I never remember when I lose it, I just wake up with blood covering my hands, their scents lasting on me for days no matter how much I try to wash it off.."

I look at Kagome, her expression blank for a moment before softening. "You killed bad people InuYasha you were protecting Kaede and honouring your Mother, you're not a bad person."

Kaede nods her agreement. "Kagome is right ye are the furthest from a bad person but I must put these on ye.."

She makes her way over to me before turning to Kagome.

"Ye must think of a word to make the necklace work. I will put it on an the first word you say will be the chosen word."

I bow my head making it easier for Kaede to slip the necklace over my neck as Kagome speaks.

"Sit down-"

I have no time to react before my body is pulled down by a strong force making my face slam into the ground.

Groaning I pull my face from the earth spitting out dirt as I look up at Kagome.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry! I was just going to say sit down first!"

My face slams into the ground again, dirt once again filling my mouth.

I spit it out looking at Kagome again her hands up in front of her defensively.

"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to I just wanted to say-"

"Don't say it!"

"I'm so sorry... What a stupid word to use..."

Kaede let's out a small chuckle earning both mine and Kagome's attention.

"Doesn't matter the word Kagome all that matters is that they work, just be careful not to say sit."

Kagome looks back down at me, an apologetic smile on her face.

As Kaede makes her way back to the hut Kagome helps me off the ground, her hands moving to my clothes brushing off the left over dirt.

"I'm really sorry are you alright?"

I scuff. "Of course I'm alright, a little annoyed but alright."

She smiles. "I guess we both were hiding things from each other weren't we... Let's promise from this moment further to not hide anything from each other no matter what, alright?"

I nod. "Deal I got nothin else to hide."

She smiles. "Me neither."

"Come inside ye both! We have plans to discuss!" Kaede yells at us, Kagome and I quickly obeying her orders as we make our way back into the slightly crowded hut.

"Nice necklace" Miroku chips in as I sit across from him, a smirk upon his face.

"Shut up monk! At least I wear pants."

His smirk quickly turns into a scowl as the elder demon slayer laughs.

As her laugh dies down she turns to look at me before holding out her hand.

"My names Sango by the way and I'd like to apologize for my behaviour the other day."

I quickly shake her hand. "InuYasha, and no worries you didn't hurt Cylis so I have no reason to kill ya."

She smiles. "How nice of you to spare my life."

Her sarcastic undertone doesn't go unnoticed but I choose to shoot her a cocky grin as my answer.

Kaede comes to sit with us her face serious. "Now that everyone has been introduced we have lots to plan."

I nod, reaching out my hands as Kaede passes Cylis to me.

Placing her in my lap I can't help but grin as she smiles up at me happily, her small hand grabbing on to one of my fingers playfully.

A sadness washes over me again as I realize once we leave on this journey there is a chance I won't see her smile ever again.

How the hell have I grown so attached to this child? Maybe it's because I to was an orphan or because the past few days I've been spending most of my time with her, truly I'm not exactly sure.

All I'm sure of is that I'll miss her smile if I don't return..

I'm snapped from my thoughts as Kagome gives me a gentle shove.

Turning to look at her she nods her head towards Kaede.

Kaede gives me a warm smile once our gazes meet before talking.

"As I was saying when should ye leave? InuYasha how long do ye and Kagome have left.."

Turning to look at Kagome's numbers I can't help but frown.

"Three weeks, technically two since Kagome has to return to her family a week before, ya know.."

They all nod.

"Two weeks isn't much time since we really don't have any idea where this imposter is.." Sango says seriously.

"That's true, all we do know is that when your imposter fought with Koga he headed south after, but that was almost a week ago.." Miroku adds.

Kagome sighs. "I wish we had more information on him.."

 I stand gaining everyone's attention.

"Well we better get our asses moving then, we only got two weeks so let's go!"

They all pass looks towards each other before standing with me.

Once outside I turn my gaze back down to Cylis, her big blue eyes look up at me with wonder and it kills me to have to say goodbye to her, possibly forever.

I turn to look at the others, seeing that they're busy talking to Kaede before turning back to Cylis to give her head a soft kiss.

"I'll miss you kid be good for Kaede."

A large smile appears on her small face.

"Dada dada"

She says quietly while reaching her small hands out to me.

A warmth once again fills my chest as I take her small hand in mine not having the strength to correct her, a part of myself wishing she was right as I look up at the others again.

Kagome looks down at Cylis than at me, a sadness filling her eyes as Kaede walks over to me waiting for me to hand Cylis to her.

As I gently place her into Kaede's arms my own feel awkward and empty.

Kaede pats my shoulder. "I will take good care of her InuYasha till ye come back and take her as ye own I will do my best."

I shoot Kaede a shocked look before realizing rejecting what she said would be useless seeing as everyone probably already knows how much I care for the child.

Instead I give a firm nod.

"Take care of ye self InuYasha and please come back, I don't want to lose ye.. Not like I lost Kagome's Father.." Her eyes fill with water as she pulls me into a tight embrace never letting me go until Cylis starts wiggling between us.

Kagome comes to stand beside me the others following close behind her as Kaede gives us one more wave before disappearing into the hut.

Kagome's arms wraps around my own as we turn and start our way out and away from the village..

Two weeks is both a lot and a little bit of time, but I know we'll find him, at least, I hope we do..
