The Forbidden love

The Party: Part One

(Hello everyone. How are you? I will try my very hardest to have another chapter uploaded this month to make up for last month! Just a quick reminder I don't own Naruto or any of the characters. They all belong to Masashi Kishimoto. I only own this story.

  On with the story!) 

(Hinata's POV)

Sasuke. He's so kind under all the gloom and brooding. 

A gentle knock fills the room. I look over to the door and whisper loud enough for the person knocking to hear my voice. 

"C-Come in." The door swings open. A familiar figure enters my room with a gentle smile. "Hey Neji what do you need?" I ask still looking at my older cousin. 

He's been coming to check on me everyday that I don't leave the house.

"Naruto is having a party and he has invited you. He says it's his way of apologizing to you and Sasuke for the way he acted that day." Neji explains. "So would you like to go?" He asks like he's hoping I'll say yes. 

I haven't left the house all that much because I figure Neji want's to have his own life away from his little cousin. 

I'm  very happy for the freedom though. I know all I would have to do is ask Neji and we'd leave the house. 

"I'll go to the p-party only if you want to go though." I condition. His face falls into a frown.

"Hinata I want you to go for the reason of wanting to get out of this house." Neji bites out. 

"Cousin y-you know i'm not much of a party p-person." I squeak out trying to be more confident. Neji's eye's glow with an evil glint. That usually means he has a devilish plan. 

"What if I said the Uchiha is going to the party as well?" He says in his persuading voice. 

I can feel my face warm up at the mention of Sasuke. Why does he have to tease me like that?

"Would that change your mind on wanting to go the party?" Neji questions. 

Sasuke is willingly going to a party with a bunch of people? That really doesn't seem like his character. It would be nice to see Sasuke again. I haven't seen Him since the dinner we had a couple of days ago. 

"A-Alright I would like to go." I say in a meek voice. 

"I didn't actually think that saying he was going was going to get you to go the party." Neji confesses. "So do you have feelings for the Uchiha? Just reminding you that you can't act on them Hinata." Neji says in a worried tone. 

"I know that Neji!" I bite out in defense. Neji's eye's widen with shock. 

"Sorry Hinata but I was just telling you for your own good." Neji says as he leaves the room. He peaks his head back in. "By the way the party is at 8 so i'll pick you up a bit before then and then well head over to Naruto's."

My face heats up from embarrassment. I snapped at Neji for what? That he said Sasuke and me couldn't have a relationship? Oh No. I guess I really do like Sasuke. 

(Sasuke's POV)

"Come on Sasuke you have to come." Pleads Naruto. 

I was just trying to practice and then all of a sudden Naruto pops up begging me to go to his stupid party. 

"For the last time Naruto, NO!" I shout at his face. I turn back to the target and throw more shuriken. 

"Please what can I say to get you to come. I mean I'm throwing the party for you and Hinata to apologize for what I did.
