The following story contains gory details and mythical creatures. If you are sensitive, please don't continue reading. No disrespect to people with schizophrenia. This is purely just a story inspired by symptoms of schizophrenia and a person who was mentally ill.

Leah is your typical 16 year old. She has a best friend, Gina, she hates being outside, and she stays away from the creepy girl, Libitina. Everyone ignored Libitina. No one even mentioned her name, but Leah just had a weird feeling about her.

So, Leah's just like everyone else. The only different thing about her is that she has schizophrenia. Don't worry, our dear Leah takes medication and no one at school knows her little secret. She acts like a normal teenager.

But Leah has no clue what will happen to her when she ventures through the woods...

Hello everyone! This is just a small introduction to the main character, Leah. From now on, the story will be written in Leah's point of view.

I was inspired to write this story from a song called First Fires and partly from the video game Until Dawn. The song is above :)

This story was originally what I wrote for an English assignment, but I loved it so much I just had to lengthen it and post it!

Parts written in italics without an 'A/N' will be Leah's thoughts in the moment.
