"She's crazy and delusional." they said. My phycologist sat across from me, scribbling down notes as I spoke.
"So, Leah, from what you've told me, Libitina is your other personality." she said.
"No! She's real! She did this to me!" I stood up.
I walked around the room slowly.
"Yes, of course. Sorry, Leah." She scribbled more notes. "Does Libitina still talk to you?"
What a stupid question.
"Of course she does!" I said.
I stood behind her while she focused on her notes.
Stupid.
"Is she here?"
"Mmhmmm..." I smiled.
"What is she saying to you, Leah?"
I hovered above her shoulder and whispered into her ear, "You can't run from yourself."
My teeth sunk into her neck and the copper, metallic taste filled me with satisfaction.
Her scream signalled the heavily armoured men (I recognised as security of the mental hospital) to chain my hands and throw me into my padded room.
I placed my bloody hand to the thick glass window and smiled sinisterly.
"The scariest monsters are the ones that lurk within our souls."
