Luckily, she grabbed on to it before it was too late. Volpina laughed.

"You know nothing!" Chat lifted the baton and brought Marinette to the bridge. He then ran to attack Volpina, but it was an illusion.

"Aah! Where is she?!" Chat looked around. He then spotted her.

"Mari. Stay here. I'll go get her!"
He then left.

"Tikki! We need to help him!"

"Alright!"

"Tikki! Spots on!" Marinette then transformed into Ladybug. With her Yo-Yo, she flew towards the Eiffel Tower.

Chat was fighting with Volpina. He was trying to take the necklace off.

"Ladybug! Bout time you showed  up!"

"Sorry. I was busy! Just heard what happened by that Marinette girl."

"Yes. She went home. Now let's get the akuma!"

She threw her Yo-Yo at Volpina and tied her up. She had no escape.

"No." Ladybug grabbed her necklace then broke it. The akuma flew away.

She them purified the akuma. After that, they returned Lila to ground.

"Pound it!" Both partners said. Ladybug then hugged Chat and kissed him. He pushed her off.

"Ladybug? What are you doing?"

The next day, Marinette had her luggage ready. She waited outside for Adrien, who offered her a ride to the airport.

"Hey Marinette!"

"Hello Adrien!" Both hugged. Then went on to the airport.

"I had some ideas of what we could sing. What about 'A Thousand Years'?"

"Oh well that's a good one, but what about Sweater Weather? We could play it as in piano version."

"To be honest, I had that song in mind too. But you know, if we win again, we move on to Washington. Then if we win there, we go to California."

"Yeah. But aren't they different song themes?"

"Yeah. I still don't know what themes they are."

They arrived at the airport. Then went in the airplane. A flight of 5 hours. Adrien and Marinette sat next to each other.

"Marinette... Do you know Ladybug in normal self?"

"Uhh why?"

Adrien and Marinette tried to keep up awake. Marinette ended falling first. She placed her head on Adrien's shoulder. He blushed. Then he grabbed her hand.

It wasn't long after he fell too. He placed his head on hers.

When they arrived, Marinette noticed. She blushed and got up.
Adrien woke up. "We are here?"

"Yep! Better get going!" Marinette grabbed her bags and went off the plane. Adrien followed.

Both got in a taxi. When the arrived at the hotel, they went straight up to their room.

There where 2 beds and a sofa. A TV and a window that gave a view to the whole city. There was also a restroom and a small kitchen with a table and 2 chairs. Also a small fridge and AC.

"That's my bed!" Said Marinette. She claimed the one next to the window.

"Alright. I'll chose this one." Both unpacked. After that, Marinette turned the TV on.

"Marinette? What if we go somewhere to eat?"

She was hungry. "Uhh sure."

She took her pink bag where Tikki was with her.

They took a taxi to Denis. When they went inside, they took a table near the window.

"I heard that their food is somewhat good."

"Really? Who told you?"

"Pla- I mean... Nathalie!"

"Oh. Well let's see if its true!"

They ordered 2 toast cheese sandwiches with bacon and 2 strawberry milkshakes.

When the food arrived, their mouths turned to heaven.

"God! This is good!" Adrien said.

When the meal was done, thy went to Central Park. They walked to explore. Adrien held Marinette's hand. Both blushed.

Both then sat on a bench. Adrien placed his arm around her. Mari then laid on his chest.

"What Marinette?"

"Ha ha ha! You caught me!"

When they arrived at the hotel, both changed and brushed their teeth. Then went to bed.

Mari closed her eyes. Then she felt something or someone next to her. Then it touched her waist. It was Adrien. She hugged her from behind and fell asleep.

Marinette blushed. Then fell asleep too.
