Lady Misfortune placed the ring on her finger. White light surrounded her. Adrien had ran to where she was. He and Hawk Moth both had their mouths hanging.

"Yes, YES! HA HA HA!!"

Adrien looked at her as she transformed into a dark version of an avatar.

"Hmmp. This is nice." She looked at her dress. It was black with red dots and white designs.

"Marinette..."

"Adrien! Darling! Its so nice of you to come by and see my new look."

"I... I didn't came here to do that... I came here to save you!"

"Save me? Ha Ha Ha! Oh my. I don't want you to save me. I'm not even in danger."

"Look at you! This isn't you!"

"Of course it is! I made this happen so I can stay with you!"

"What do you mean?"

"Ah. Well my parents wanted me to move to China because of Hawk Moth... But I couldn't. I had to save Paris with you...."

"But you already managed that. You kinda destroyed and saved Paris."

"Huh?"

"You captured Hawk Moth."

She looked at Hawk Moth. Then smiled.

"Yeah. But still! I have power! It feels soooo good!"

"What?!"

"Yeah! We can both rule Earth!"

She offered her hand to him. He extended it, but then, brought it down.

"What?!"

"Not with that side of you. You aren't the Marinette I love."

"But..." She made a sad face, then it turned to a frown. "Fine. If I can't have you, NO ONE WILL!"

She grabbed a baton and pointed to Adrien. She raised it, ready to strike, but then, he kissed her. Lady Misfortune stopped herself. She brought the weapon down and dropped it. Tears formed in her eyes.

"Only love conquers hate..."

She kissed him back. Adrien broke the kiss. He took the ring off her. She detransformed and was left with regular Lady Misfortune. Hawk Moth then took control over her again and took her powers off. She was now Marinette.

She looked up. She saw Hawk Moth tied up and Adrien next to him.

"I... I don't know what to say."

Adrian looked at the akuma. "Capture it, My Lady."

She smiled and transformed into Ladybug. She captured it and then, everything in Paris went back to normal.

"No!" Hawk Moth screamed.

Both teens looked at him. They grinned and grabbed his miraculous. He detransformed into Gabriel Agreste.

"Father?!"

"Adrien..."

"But why?"

"I wanted that power to find your mother."

"Father..." He hugged him. "Mother will come back..."

He hugged back. Both cried. Marinette smiled. He looked at the miraculous in her hands. Tikki told her what to do.

"Give it to the Great Guardian!"

"Alright! Tikki."

Both Adrien and Marinette arrived at Master Fu's. "Here Mr. Fu, I think this is what we've been fighting for."

She handed it to him.

"Thank you, Ladybug and Chat Noir. You can now rest until your services are required again."

Both smiled and left.

"So all this time, you were Ladybug?"

"Yeah."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't want you to be mad at me for breaking your heart."

"Thanks." He smiled and hugged her.

"So that means..."

"...that we are a couple?"

She nodded. He nodded too. Both hugged and giggled. Adrien kissed her. She kissed back.

The next day, Adrien broke up with Chloe. "What?!"

"Yeah. I hope you understand."

She looked at Marinette. Then back at Adrien. She let out a sigh.

"I understand. You have to be happy."

She smiled. He smiled back. "Thanks Chloe. You are my best friend. I know I could count on you."

She left.

After school, Marinette talked to her parents.

"Mom, Dad, I'm sorry about getting mad. I know it was for my own good, but I couldn't go because I needed to save Paris here."

"We apologise too. We didn't know you were Ladybug and that it meant a lot to you."

She smiled and hugged her parents. "Are we staying?"

"Of course! And if we did, who would make the best bread in Paris?"

They all giggled.

At the Agreste Mansion, Adrien and his father had more time to socialize as a normal family. Weeks later, a visit was made.

"Hello? Oh! Welcome home! Come in!" Nathalie said.

The women made her way to Adrien's room. "Knock knock!"

Adrien turned to the women. "M-Mom?!"

The women nodded and smiled. Adrian rushed to hug her. His father came in too and joined in the hug. The Agreste Family was going to be a family again.

In the end, Marinette and Adrien had a happy life with their families and saved Paris from some new villains. Hawk Moth didn't planned to do more evil, instead, he was with his family.

For the rest of the students, Chloe went out with Nathaniel, Alya with Nino, Alix with Kim, Sabrina with Max, and Ivan with Mylene.

Everyone had a happy ending and had their soul mate with them till the end.
