Rubbiphire: A High School Experience

Chapter 2: The beginning

Ruby's POV
"Hello, I'm Sapphire."Sapphire said calmly
"H-hi." I stuttered "I'm R-Ruby."
The teacher continued to babble on and the only thing I could think of was Sapphire and how amazing she was
"Ruby, are you paying attention?" Ms. Diamond asked.
"Um, yeah." I said. I was lying.
"Okay then I assume you won't have a problem answering the question I asked." Ms.Diamond said.
"What's the question again?" I asked, she was onto me.
"What's water in Spanish?" She asked.
"Isn't it agua?" I asked
"Yes, you wouldve been positive about your answer if you would have been listening.
"I was but okay whatever." I said sassily.
Time passed by and finally that dumb class was over.
"Hey Rubes!" Amethyst yelled.
"Amethyst, hey whats up?" I asked.
"Oh nothing, hey tonight we are having a sleepover at my place you should come Rose, Lapis, Pearl, Jasper, Peridot, and that new girl Sapphire are going to be there." She said.
I immediately blushed.
"I'll be there." I said
"Great well I'll see you at lunch." Amethyst said. She knew oh my god she knew.
I had no other classes with that Sapphire girl, bummer.
"Finally, lunch!" I thought.
I sat down next to the usual group (Jasper, Amethyst, Peridot, and Lapis) and Jasper just complained at how she hated all of her classes, Peridot complained at how stupid everyone was, Lapis complained at how she wanted to go home (Sorry I had to lol), Amethyst just sat there and ate and I said nothing the entire time. I was too busy staring at Sapphire.
"Ruby what's up with you?" Amethyst asked "You haven't said a thing for the whole lunch hour."
"Oh, me nothing I'm just a little um tired I guess." I stuttered.
"Wait a sec you like someone." Jasper said grinning evilly.
"No I don't" I said blushing deeply.
"I bet its that Sapphire girl." Lapis said "Isn't it?"
"N-no I don't like anyone n-not that way at least." I said.
"It is isn't it I've noticed you staring at her all day." She said.
"Whatever I don't like her." I said rolling my eyes "I'll be right back I have to go to the bathroom."
All day went by fast and finally I got to go home. When I got home I packed for that sleepover at Amethysts place I told my mom I was going earlier so I just left.

Sorry not sorry about that Lapis joke earlier and sorry I couldn't publish this chapter at 5 like I promised but I promise that I will publish the one tomorrow at 5, anyways I hope you like the story BYEEE.
