Chapter 11 - Losing Control

Losing Control.

(Serena's P.O.V)

"Pikachu!" Ash ran under him, so he was able to catch him. He was tackled in the side by Aiden, making them both hit the concrete hard.

I didn't know what to do again. Ash was rolling on the floor with Aiden, and Noivern was busy with Skarmory. Pikachu was quickly falling towards the ground. What can I do?

I had to take control of the situation, but how.

I looked up at the sky, I saw Noivern still hanging onto Skarmory, and Pikachu falling towards the ground. If I could just..

"Noivern! Use boomburst!" I commanded Noivern, hopefully he would listen to me.

"Vernnnnn!" Yes, he's listening! Waves came out of Noivern's ears, up close and personal to Skarmory, there was no way he could dodge this. I mean, Noivern still had Skarmory in his grip, the metal bird couldn't move even if he tried.

The boomburst hit, and sent Skarmory to the ground, faster than Pikachu falling.

"Use acrobatics to catch Pikachu!" I demanded, yelling up at the massive dragon. He did so, he glowed a light blue and shot down like the speed of light after Pikachu.

All I could hear was the air being ripped apart from Noivern, he was going almost as fast as Greninja when he 'teleports.' Even though it really isn't teleporting, it still seems like it because how fast he is moving.

Noivern was slowly catching up to the falling Pikachu, I can't believe how far up Skarmory brought him, that had to be at least 1,500 feet in the air. Finally, Noivern got Pikachu in his grips, and brought him to his chest, why though? I now know why, he can't stop because how fast he is going, he was going to hit the ground.

Noivern prepared itself, it put its back towards the ground, and prepared to hit it.

"Noivern! Spread your wings like Hawlucha told you!" I screamed, hopefully he could hear me from the wind.. He didn't do it though, he was still preparing himself for the collision.

...

All I can hear is silence now. I saw them land far from us, over a hill. I just heard a massive thump, and dirt come flying out of the ground.

"Noivern! Pikachu!" Ash screamed. He shoved Aiden off of him, and ran towards his Pokemon. I could see tears in his eyes, the pain in his voice. I followed behind him.

(Ash's P.O.V)

"Noivern! Pikachu!" I saw the dirt come up from the ground where Noivern landed. I kneed Aiden in the crotch, who was originally holding me down to the ground. He was now in pain, I rolled him off of me, and shot up. I looked behind me to see Serena running after me.

I looked over the massive hill, seeing dirt spread out all over the field. Where Noivern and Pikachu landed, there was no grass, they obviously got rid of it when they fell. I came up to them, Noivern was in a ball, folding its wings around Pikachu.

"Vern..." Noivern's cry was weak, obviously in a lot of pain.

"Noivern.. Are you okay buddy?" I stroked its head, then it rolled over opening up its wings, and showed Pikachu who was laying in his belly.
