Chapter 17 - Bad Dreams.

in your authors note on top of the chapter are you talking about the anime or the game?

Answer: I was talking about a leak, that turned out to be true. In that leak there was concept art and it had a girl named 'Mallow' and Ash standing next to each other. It is GAME art, not ANIME art, so don't worry one bit. You may be asking why Ash is in the game. Ash-Greninja was confirmed to be in it, so that automatically confirms Ash.

AND BY THE WAY, TWITTER FOLLOWERS, that 'leaked' chapter was fake :3 I was just messing with you guys xD It's not gonna happen... for awhile ;)

I'm glad you guys hate Aiden so much xD I hate him too lol. It is fun writing with him though. He is a good rival for Ash.

Also, a lot of you predicted Ash and Serena would break up from what happened in the previous chapter, because of the development I put in before hand. Thanks guys, that means a lot actually lol. You may be asking why it means a lot, well, it's because it shows you readers are actually paying attention and very intrigued with the story. and that is all I ask for :)

And also, 'Nathalie,' is really just a filler person, so if I don't put much personality into her, you know why now. I tried to get rid of her as soon as it was possible xD

OKAY, This is a really short chapter, and not my best definitely. I'm seriously busy right now so I couldn't work on this chapter for a while, and you guys have been waiting for me to update. Sorry to disappoint you with this chapter. It definitely doesn't help that last chapter was good, because now this one just set the bar low again. I PROMISE, the next chapters after this one will be good. I will give a tiny bit of info about them after. (By the way I wrote this after I finished the chapter)

Bad Dreams.

"Okay okay." Aiden put his hands up in front of him, very sarcastically. "But you know.. I did it all for you."

Ash growled, stood up, and tackled Aiden to the ground. He punched him continuously in the face. He was enraged. He was infuriated. He.....

...Didn't want to stop.

That is what Ash was hoping for.. But instead he flashed back to reality, him still on the ground and Aiden in front of him. He was too weak from the battle. Ash couldn't even clench his fist or grind his teeth. He still had that look on his face though, the same one that he had when he lost against Wulfric.

Serena went back to treating Ash, ignoring the ignorant runt behind her. She slowly put Ash's arm around her, and helped him up. It was not easy, it seems like all that food he eats is stored somewhere in his body, but definitely doesn't show itself.

Ash finally got to his feet, leaning on Serena. Aiden stood in front of them. "Get out of the way." Serena growled.

"Anything for you." He smirked, and moved himself to the right, out of their way.

Serena put her hand on Ash's chest, giving him more balance. She took Greninja's Pokeball off of his belt, and recalled the fainted Pokemon.

"Is he okay?!" Serena heard 'Nathalie' running up to them. She talked to the girl while Ash was fighting, but she can talk to Ash about that later.

"Yeah, he is fine. He just needs rest." Serena said, giving her a weak smile then looking back at Ash, who seemed like he wanted to fall asleep right there. Nathalie went to the other side of him, and helped Serena carry his arms.
