Lilith makes Peace

Shads POV
It's been a week since I last saw Aphmau.

While then, Laurence and I organized and trained a better army. But, I was always distracted, replaying the events of the battle.

Right now, Laurence and I were talking about when to start invading and if we should team up with the Tu'La region. I wasn't paying attention.

L: SHAD!! Are you even listening?!
S: Wha... No.
L: Then listen! We can't wait forever to start invading.
S: Fine. But this is the last time you tell me what to do. Understand?
L: Yeah, yeah.

We then started planning and we agreed on invading tomorrow afternoon.

Aphmaus POV
Today, I went on a picnic with Lilith. It's been a while since we spent some time together.

We sat on a blanket near a little waterfall in the forest.

Now, Lilith started walking and talking a lot more.

L: Wha's daddy?
A: Um, he... Um.... He's.. Taking a really long nap.
L: Why?
A: Cause he's tired.
L: Ok. Why's your belly button big?
A: I'm carrying a baby.
L: Ok!!! I'm not a baby. Im a big girl!!!

I laughed. Lilith always makes me laugh. She went a foot away from me and picked a little dandelion.

L: This flower for mommy!! Sup-pwase!
A: Awwwww... Thanks Lilith!

Even if it wasn't a surprise, I took it and placed it on my ear.

I put Lilith on my lap and played patty cake with her.

After we ate, we went home. It was sunset and I was tired. I went to sleep early and slept really well.

(The next day)

In the afternoon, I was in the woods again with Lilith. She enjoyed the woods so much yesterday, she wanted to go again.

I held her little hand and she was pointing at different flowers on the grass.

When she she was about to pick a rose, I heard a loud boom.

A: What in Irene was that?
L: The boom boom sounded like a fart.
A: ...

I picked her up and stroked her brown hair. I ran to the village and to the gates.

Why didn't I drop of Lilith?! Ugh. I'm so stupid.

I went over and looked over the gates.

L: DADDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lilith jumped out of my arms and crawled underneath a little hole in the gates.

AHHHHH!!!!! NO THERE ARE A BUNCH OF SHADOW KNIGHTS!!!!!

Ugh... STUPID HOLE!!!!!! Now I know why Laurence hated them so much...

A: LILITH!!!!

She ran to Shad and hugged his leg.

Fear and anger rose inside of me and I screamed Lilith's name again.

Shads POV
Lilith came over and hugged my leg. She was so cute...

Laurence then came over.

(Laurence is Lc btw)

Lc: I'll take care of her.

He then started taking out his sword. I heard Aphmau screaming but I pulled out my own sword instead.

S: Don't hurt her. She's mine.
Lc: Okay. It's your kill.
L: Hehe. Big knifes!
S: Not like that Laurence! I mean, I own her.
Lc: ...

I picked up Lilith and she laughed.

L: Mommy has big belly button!!!
S: ...

So Aphmau wasn't lying when she was pregnant...

A: IF YOU HURT HER!!!
S: I won't.
A: ...
S: I'm serious. She's innocent.
A: Then give her back to me.
L: Me want daddy and mommy together.
S: ...
A: ...

She giggled and pushed me closer to the gates. Aphmau opened the gates and Lilith ran over to her with me. She held both our hands.

L: Now you kiss.
A: Wha the...
S: ... Uh....
L: Come on! It's just like a night night kiss.

I pulled my hand away and looked down at Lilith.

S: Me and your mom don't like each other.
L: Why?
A: Cause he doesn't like you.
S: Yes I do like Lilith.
A: Ha. Yeah right. Remember two days ago?

Ugh. I walked back to my group and told them today wasn't the day to attack.

Lc: But-
S: Do you want to die today?

They went away to the Nether portal.

L: Wha are you going? Stay here!!!!
S: I can't I-
L: Don't make me cry!!!!
S: Lil-
L: Pweeeeeeeeeese?
S: ...

I looked at Aphmau and she looked at me. What was she thinking?

Aphmaus POV
Could I trust him?? Hmmm.. It was Laurence's fault for taking him to the nether...

Maybe I'll give him a second chance. Give Aaron a second chance.

I shrugged at Shad.

L: Welllllll?
S: Ok. Just one night.
L: Yayyyyyyy! Thank you!!!

I smiled and Lilith held our hands and skipped to my house.

Huh.

Lilith was his weakness.
