"i have a messaging account too"

"cool"

"aren't you gonna ask what it is?"

"did you want me to?

"So I got the account everyone was telling to get yesterday."

"Good for you." What is it? Do you want to know mine? We should totally text each other.

An awkward silence, and then she walks away, leaving him there on his own.

I did it. I refused him. But it didn't feel as good as it sounded. After years and years of dedication, to ignore him once was like... Indescribable. But it wasn't good.

Later that day, Sakura got a stomachache of nerves, and wrote at least eight apology letters before deciding on the best method to apologize, and decided to do it at school tomorrow. She went to bed with a firm resolve and a queasy stomach, and woke up in the same conditions. She got herself ready while thinking of how badly she had treated him, and when she got to school first period she was determined.

The minute he went to go grab his instrument, she was onto him.

"What's your account name?"

Sasuke smiled, and Sakura was relieved. "Sasukeuchiha, all lowercase," he responded. Sakura was hopeful, yet again.

"Wow?"

He frowned. "Are you mocking me?"

She flipped her hair, glad that it was back to normal. "Yes."

"No."

"Maybe so," she winked. And then she flounced away, a grin on her face.

"Rude!!" She heard him shout, and she turned on her heel.

"You still love me." His eyes widen, and her cheeks flush. It was meant as a joke, but sounded anything but.

"i remember that!!"

"i don't"

Her face flushed, Sakura ran out into the hallway, ignoring the conversation that everyone was throwing at her.

"Sakura, you look kind of red."

"Sakura, did something happen?"

"You won't believe how mad Kakashi-sensei got at us... Sakura?"

She grabbed her backpack, threw her stuff in and walked out. Once she was sure that everyone else was out of sight, she put her two hands to her face. I'd managed to hold it in until I got out... But now I might just blow up! Feeling butterflies take over her stomach, she clutched her middle and crouched down.

"I can't believe I said that..."

After a few moments, she got back up and began walking, her face still red but determined. I will not miss my bus. Her thoughts were jumping like bugs, skittering around everywhere, and that's how she came to her next conclusion as well.

One day, you'll love me just as much as I love you.

"field trip?"

"i'm in his group again!!"

HI, she typed right as she got home. Remember that time when Naruto pulled your shirt up in class? No response. Um, well, if it isn't you (and if i sent this to the wrong person i apologize) then just... ignore me?? I guess. She turns her phone off nervously, and her sleep is fitful that night.
