Adam is a new kid in June high school and he has really abusive parents which make him want to just disappear. Adam was adopted by the Smith family and they hate his guts and they don't want anything to do with him.
Adam's a very bad boy because he skips school to go out drinking with his buddies Jarrett and Andy which they are not supposed to do because they are underage.
Andy walks up to Adam and asks "Are you ready to skip school and go drinking?"
Adam looks at Andy and says "Are you freaking crazy because if my parents find out I skipped school they're going to kick my butt" and with saying that Adam walks away from Andy.
Andy follows Adam and says "Your parents won't find out that you skipped school because you're not going to tell them."
Adam says to his two friends "I don't want to go out drinking with you guys," and with saying that Adam starts to walk away but Andy and Jarrett grab him and throw him in the truck.
Adam looks at his two friends like he wished they were dead as they pulled out of the school parking lot and drove to a teen bar.
