The Last Bit of Sunlight's Gone Down

The last bit of sunlight's gone down
The sky is a black abyss of nothingness
No stars around
The sky's blocked out with mean dark clouds
It's getting late
I shouldn't be out here now
But I had to be alone
In the not-so-clean-and-clear air
Sometimes I know that the Universe is against me
I'm not pretty
I'm just smart
I wanna take a hike through the woods
Escape society
Regain confidence
Hear the sights
See the sounds
The night-to me-is paradise
But paradise is not so nice when mean dark clouds ruin it
If I get my feelings down on paper, will I be able to hide them in the real world?
Where is the moon when you need it?
Hidden behind its physical curtain
