NOTE: THIS IS MY FAVORITE POEM OF MINE. I PLACE IT AT #1 IN ALL MY POEMS. PLEASE ENJOY

The darkness is creeping in.

Swallowing, gathering, taking away.

I hear the voices; swirling 'round in my head.

The Mirror of Truth is lying again.

Have I ever heard the truth in my life?

Has every word, every rhyme, been a lie?

The darkness is creeping in.

Swallowing, gathering, taking away.

Is everyone I love going to Flat Line?

Am I going to be left alone in this world?

NO! I am not alone!

I have the Words of Love at my side.

I have the Words of Love at my side.

NO! I am not alone!

The darkness is creeping in.

Swallowing, gathering, taking away.

The cold is unbearable.

But I keep trudging on.

The wind keeps screaming,

"Come, I'll take you away!"

But I say, "No!" "I'm warm on the inside!", I lie.

I'm breaths to fading away,

But I find a light.

I find a light that scares the Dark.

The darkness is creeping in.

Swallowing, gathering, taking away.

AND I'VE FOUND THE LIGHT!

The cold rope if Dark Has turned into the warm embrace of Light!

The Darkness can scare me no more!

The Mirror of Truth is

SHATTERED!

The Darkness is creeping OUT.

Retracting, lossing, giving back.
