~Time Skip~ After school
Ayame's POV
'Gosh, I never thought that English could be so hard!' I thought as I look through all the sheets that I have to have completed for THE NEXT DAY. It's just so difficult, they have like 5 billion ways to spell there! Okay so I may have over exaggerated that a little bit but seriously, why so many different ways to spell one word?! I mean, Japanese can be confusing as well but English? Really? Do I have to explain?
Okay that was off topic so now I will be on topic. I am making (my way down town walking fast, faces pass and I'm home bound, lol I wish) my way towards the boys volleyball gym in hopes of finding Sho-nii. I'm just minding my own business when I am roughly shoved to the floor! As I shake my head and look up from my position on the ground, I see an orange and black blur run down the halls towards the gym. "SHOYOU!" I yell as I rush to get back on my feet and chase after my annoying younger brother. 'Oh now is really gonna wish he didn't do that when we get home!' I yell internally as I am now gaining on him. I am just 7 feet away from him when he abruptly stops and I smash into him, sending us flying through now open gym doors. We are sprawled out on the gym floor and everyone that is present is staring at us. That means Daichi-san, Sugawara-san, Tanaka-san, and the two other first years that I forget their names are. 'Huh, the black haired first year isn't here yet, or I just can't see him' I thought as I scan the now silent gymnasium.
I now realise that sho-nii somehow landed on top of me, laying horizontally over my stomach. "Oi! Shoyou! Get off of me!" I whisper yell to him. He finally realises the position we are in and gets off of me, kneeing me in the stomach at the same time. "Oof!" I say(?) and I am now clutching my stomach since that actually hurt!
"Okie dokie... hi again!" I say as I finally manage to stand up and give a slight wave to the guys watching with my left hand.
"Hello Hinata-san, I see you have made, quiet an entrance..." Daichi-san rubs the back of his neck as he says that.
"hahaha, ah sorry about the intrusion" I say as I give a nervous smile. I realize that sho-nii hasn't said anything and I turn my head around trying to see where he went. I guess me and Daishi-san got into our own world when we exchanged greetings and the others went back to their conversations before we entered the gym, cough cough interrupted cough cough. I can now see that Sho-nii is talking to string bean and mr.antenna over in the corner while also changing into his practice attire. 'I guess they really don't care where they change after all' I thought.
Third POV
Alright so Ayame is now in the gym, talking to the other members of the team.
Okay pause. Hinata is already officially in the team. You know how some schools hold orientation days? Well let's say that was a week before school actually started, let's say it was on a Tuesday. The vice-principles toupee had fallen onto daichi, blah blah blah. Hinata and Kageyama challenged the third years and then the 3 vs 3 match was on the Saturday before school started. The match happened and Hinata and Kageyama are on the team. Okay, un-pause!
She is asking them all sorts of questions. Why isn't there a coach? Who's the advisor? Why is string bean so tall? Etc. To answer her questions (sort of), the presumed advisor and manager walk into the gym.
"KIYOKO-SANNNNN" Tanaka yells as he tries to hug the black haired beauty. Now know as Kiyoko, she simply side steps and hits Tanaka in the back of his head with her clip board to deal the final blow. "Oh it turns me one when she ignores me!" Tanaka exclaims and hugs himself.
Daichi then decides to be a good captain and introduce the two new comers to Ayame.
"Ah Hinata-san-" Daichi is cut off when Ayame says,
"Please, just call me Ayame, no honorifics needed and there is already one Hinata, no need for two"
"Well then, call us whatever you like, family name or given name, it doesn't matter" Daichi replies as he gestures to the rest of the group.
"Alright" Ayame agrees. Now they are out of their little conversation.
"As I was saying, Ayame-sa- Ayame, this is our club advisor, Takeda-sensei and our manager, Kiyoko" Daichi says as he gets back to what he was going to say and gestures to said people, in order.
"Hello Takeda-sensei it is a pleasure to meet you, my name is Hinata Ayame, third year" Ayame says politely and shakes sensei's hand.
She moves onto Kiyoko and also shares greetings with her.
"It is so nice to meet you Kiyoko-san-" THE TABLES HAVE TURNED (lol, sorry) Kiyoko interrupts Ayame and says,
"Please, call me Kiyoko or Shimizu, it doesn't matter"
Ayame gives a surprised look, no one had ever directly given her a choice to address them by their given name.
"Alright then, Kiyoko, it is a pleasure to meet you!"" Ayame says as she and Kiyoko shake hands.
It seems that there are floating flowers around the third year females, also sparkles, A LOT OF SPARKLES. Oh dear, sorry to whoever has to clean that mess up.
Is that an okay place to stop? It's 1am right now so I'm gonna end it there.
I am so sorry that I didn't update this any sooner. I really don't have a proper excuse but I'm sorry. I hope this helps you guys hold out for a bit longer but I should be updating withing a week, no promises though, sorry.
