"Buti ka pa gagraduate na" nakasimangot na sabi ni Iya. One year pa sya sa law school at naghihintay na lang akong magmartsa.
Napangiti ako "kunwari ka pa e baka nga magpabagsak ka pa ng isang subject para magtagal ka pa sa law school" pang aasar ko.
Umirap sya at sumimsim ng kape. Ngayon ko lang narealize kung gaano ko namiss si Iya. We've een bussy that we miss a lot of each other. So we decided to bond today.
Panay ang pangungulit ni Misag na magdate kaming dalawa. And i refuse. Pag sinabi kasi nyang date, means we'll stay in his unit and have sex.
Kaayos pa lang namin and everything is smooth. Pero ngayon lang free si Iya so i grab the opportunity. I miss my bestfriend so much.
Kasalukuyan kaming nasa starbucks at nagkakape ng may lalaking lumapit sakin. He's humming a song as he place a stem of rainbow roses in our table. He smile at me and shock is an understatement for my reaction. This is the same roses Misag gave me last night.
Uso ba ang ganitong rosas at maraming bumibili para ibigay sa isang babae?
"Hey.." i mumble and handed the rose back to him. "You gave it to the wrong person" i said. He shook his head and wink at me. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa ginawa ng lalaki. Tatawa tawa lang si Iya sa tabi ko.
Then another guy pop from somwhere and give me another rose.
They are both humming the same song na talaga namang nakakakuha n ng atensyon.
They snnap their fingers and produce a sound while they are swaying their feet through the beat. I look at Iya and ask what is happening?
She shook her head and watch those guys giddly. I watch them out of choice, 'til i recognize them. Mga kabanda sila ni Misag.
Naghiwalay sila ng lumabas si Misag sa gitna nila.

"Please have a date with me" malambing na sabi ni Misag. How can he act normal when my heart is tugging inside my chest and it's hard for me to breath? Im just so happy. So happy that he's doing this for me.
As much as i want to say yes. But im with Iya Maine. Alangan naman iwanan ko sya.
"But im with Iya Maine" bulong ko.
Nakita ko naman ang pag ngisi ni Iya na para bang inaasar si Misag.
"I wont stop singing 'til you say yes" ngumisi sya at muling kumanta.
Alam kong pulang pula na ang muka ko sa kilig. I should be shy about Misag's noise but i guess the crowd enjoyed. Napailing na lang ako. Bumaling ako kay Iya Maine na nakakaunawang tumango.
"Sige na, magdedate na tayo" nakangusong sabi ko. Ayaw ko naman na mas lumaki pa ang ulo ni Misag dahil pumayag ako.
Just so i thought we will stay at the mall and watch movies, eat at the restaurant like a normal couples do but we went out of town. Sa Los Baños kami nakarating. We check in at the resort and it feels refreshing.
"Friday bukas.. may pasok ka sa office. Uuwi ba tayo ng maaga?" I ask when i enter our room. Nanatili sya sa kwarto at hinarap ang laptop nya. I want to get mad because he's still working even though we're here but i cant do nothing about it. I feel proud instead.. he's dedicated to his job and he's responsible to take the lead of their company.
