Storm's POV

"Okay, so how in the universe are we gonna do this?" I asked.

"Do what?" Crazy questioned.

I sighed, shaking my head. I seriously wonder sometimes if Crazy has Short Term Memory Loss or something. "How are we gonna rescue all of Team Crafted from the squid base?"

"Can't you just teleport in and break them out?" she asked.

"I could, except I have no idea where I'm supposed to teleport. I could accidentally teleport into a wall, or a person or anything really. And I don't think it's a good idea to teleport Team Crafted out."

"It would be border lining on breaking the dimension rules," Aura added.

Crazy sighed dramatically. "Can we just ignore the rules for once?"

"Crazy, you of all people know that we can't ignore the dimension rules," I told her. "We'll just figure out something else. It can't be too hard."

"Let's figure out what we can't do," Aura suggested, leaning forward. "We can't be seen by too many people/squids. We also have to do as little head-on confrontation as possible, again because of the dimension rules."

"Stupid dimension rules," Crazy muttered under her breath. Aura ignored her.

"So the best option we have is to do a sneak attack. Get in without being seen and get Team Crafted out without being seen."

"There are skylights on the roof, but it's gonna be almost impossible to get to them with Team Crafted, so they're out," I said.

"Hm. Is there a back door to the base?"

Crazy shook her head. "I looked everywhere. There's no other entry apart from the main front door."

"Which we can't use."

"What if we distracted them from the door?" I asked.

"It's too risky. There's bound to be lots of squids near the door and only some of them will be distracted," Aura said.

I sighed. This was getting more and more complicated by the second. We sat in thought for a few minutes, then Crazy grinned.

"I have an idea. Yo Writer!" she called.

There was no answer.

"Writer, answer me."

*sigh* What is it?

"We need a way into the squid base," I said. "A way that won't get us caught by squids and comes out near the cells that Team Crafted are in."

You want me to help you?

"Well duh."

What if I don't want to?

"Then we'll bug you for all eternity," Crazy grinned.

*big sigh* Fine. If you go towards the end of the squid base, you'll see a small hatch just wide enough to slip through. It leads into a tunnel. The end is a few corridors away from the cells.

"Thanks Writer!" Crazy called before turning to us with a ridiculous grin on her face. "That's how we're gonna get in."

"That was actually smart Crazy," Aura said. "Asking Writer. I wouldn't have thought of that."

"So we'll use that hatch to get into the base, break out Team Crafted from their cells, sneak back out and we're done!" I summed up.

"This plan is the best plan we've ever had," Crazy said. "Let's do it now!"

Unfortunately, Aura insisted that we wait until night came before we ran to the hatch. So, to kill the 4 hours before sunset, Crazy and I went to the freezer room. This was where Crazy had put those girls we met in the forest, Arella and Hydro or something, along with their friends. They were all lined up along the wall, frozen in various poses.

"I wonder what these guys were gonna do before we came in," Crazy said, walking up to one and playing with the butterfly headband she wore.

"Probably something along the lines of saving Team Crafted," I guessed. "Hey look at this one! She's almost completely blue!"

"Wow. Why in the universe would she be dressed in blue?"

"Hey, blue is a great colour," I said.

"Yeah, but she's taken it overboard," Crazy answered.

I gasped as a ridiculous but really good idea came to me. I locked eyes with Crazy.

"Why do you want me to make us look like these guys?" she asked, reading my mind.

"We can't let people see us properly because of the rules. But these girls are meant to be in the book. People are supposed to see them. If we are disguised as them, we won't have to be as careful!" I explained.

"Okay, but a few problems." Crazy held up a finger for each problem. "1: We won't be allowed to use our powers because these girls don't have them. 2: None of us have the ability to change how we look. 3: When I unfreeze them, they won't have any memory of breaking Team Crafted out of the base, and that would cause ripples."

Ripples are things that don't add up in dimensions. Some of these are passed of as déjà vu, some as memory loss but some of them can't be explained away, and they can cause trouble in other dimensions, like a ripple. Aura, Crazy and I have had to fix a few in the past.

I shrugged and answered. "1: We will be allowed to use our powers, we'll just make sure that no one can see us when we do. 2: You have psychic abilities, so you can make other people see us as these girls and 3: You can create false memories with those same psychic abilities."

Crazy looked at me. "You really think I can do that?"

"You made someone believe they were a chicken for a month."

She giggled. "That was fun. Okay, let's do it!"

I teleported away and teleported back with Aura. We explained my plan to her and she agreed (Although there was a lot of doubt in her voice). We each picked a girl to be and Crazy got their looks in her mind. I chose the completely blue girl, who was called 'Tinarris'. Aura chose to be 'Alexandra' and Crazy chose 'Bella'.

"Okay, so Tinarris is part of the Ty's Army, Alexandra is part of Seto's Army and Bella is from Ty's Army too," Crazy told us. She then looked at the other girls and pointed to two. "Those two there are traitors. Arella and Hydrangea." (Oh uh.... spoiler alert) "They're part of the squid army."

"How?" I asked, taking a closer look at them.

"Um..." Crazy took a look in their minds. "The squid injected them with something, making them loyal to their army. There's probably more in the squid base."

"We'll have to get them out too then," Aura said.

"Yep. Alright, let's head back!" I said before teleporting us away.

Alrighty. So as you can probably tell, we're getting to the climax of this book. Here's a few things you can expect next chapter:

"Since when were you polite Storm?" the second girl asked.

"Aura, I'll have you know that I'm very polite."

-

"I bet this is Writer getting her revenge on us," Crazy muttered

"Squid minion!" Ty yelled.

"Why do we do this again?" Crazy asked.

I shrugged. "Because we can?"

Yep. That pretty much sums up the next chapter (without giving away too much). So, until the next chapter, have a great day.
