This is War | Chapter 3 - [Missing]
It was later into the night. Timothy sat parked in his car outside of Hannah’s house. He felt as if he had been waiting for the longest time, which he had. But as time passed her was becoming worried. So he opened his car door and got out. After shutting it, he made his way up Hannah’s driveway. As he knocked on the door, no answer came.
“Hannah?” he spoke. Which knowing even if she was in there, she couldn’t hear him. So, he reached under the mat where he knew she left the key and opened the door. Walking in, the house was empty. Like she always left it in the morning when she left for work. “Hannah?” he asked again.
No reply.
So he walked back out the door and down her porch and over to her garage. Using the remote, he opened it. As it finished, no car was inside. A confused look formed on his face. Then he grabbed his phone, and dialed Allison’s number.
“Hello?” her voice rang into the phone as she answered.
“Is Hannah with you?”
“No. She should be at home, I saw her leaving work.”
“She’s not here, or at my house.”
“That’s odd.”
Timothy shook his head. “I know that.”
“Have you tried calling her?”
“Several times when I pulled up, she never answered any of them.”
Allison thought for a moment, “Gavin and I will be over there in a minute. Wait there.”

Timothy paced impatiently around in Hannah’s yard as he waited for Allison and Gavin. It was taking them longer than a minute and he was tempted to call her again. But just as he grabbed his phone a car pulled up into her driveway. It was soon turned off and both doors opened. Allison and Gavin stood there.
“Have you heard from her?” Allison asked as she came over to me. “No, and she still won’t answer her phone.” He told her. “Are you sure you saw her leaving work?” he then picked up again with a question. “Yes, we walked out together but I forgot something so I had to go back inside. And when I came back out, her car was gone.” She told him everything that happened. Timothy ran his hands through his hair.
“I’m worried.” He told her.
“I know, I am too.” She replied.
Gavin then walked closer, he was always quiet. “Have you seen her?” Timothy asked. “I haven’t.” he answered. “Damn it!” Timothy shouted, loud enough for the neighbors to hear.
“Timothy, calm down.”
“How can I?! I want to know where my girlfriend is!”
“She probably isn’t far; we’ll drive around and look for her.”
“So come on, get in my car.” Gavin then reached into the conversation. Timothy was hesitant but he did. With Gavin driving and bot h Allison and Timothy looking out the windows and yelling her name. It wasn’t long before they both had tears running down their faces. She was nowhere to be found. All of her favorite places had not seen her today.
“Damn it!” Timothy yelled after leaving one of Hannah’s favorite clothing stores. “Timothy, we will find her. You need to calm down.” Allison tried comforting him. “I can’t! I want my girlfriend here with me! What if she’s hurt?” he spoke. Making Allison run her hands through her hair. “Don’t think negative, Timothy.” Gavin said. He leaned up against the car. “I just… want to know she’s okay.” He told both of them. “And I know she is, just stay positive and we will find her. Okay?” Allison questioned.
He nodded his head. “Good, now let’s get back to her house, maybe she’s home now.”

Hours passed, but to Timothy it felt like it had been days. He sat alone in Hannah’s living room, the clock showing that it was nearly eleven o’clock. She hadn’t called or even been back to her house. He was worried sick. He now knew how it felt to a parent when they lost their own child.
“Timothy?” a voice charmed in.
He turned his head and saw Allison. “Yeah?”
“I’m about to call the police station.”
It made him stand up. “Why?”
“She’s never out this late without calling. I’m about to call them and then her parents.”
He sighed. “I’ll call her parents.”
“Are you sure?”
“She’s my girlfriend.”
She nodded her head.
“I still can’t believe she’s missing.” He told her.
Allison walked over to him and wrapped his arms around him in a hug. Tears started to roll down both of their cheeks. “It’ll be okay. We’ll find her.” Allison whispered in Timothy’s ear.
Or… She hoped they would.
