Hades
| five | hades is ten years old.
"I don't want you going anywhere near those woods, do you hear me?"
Hades shrugged, a nonchalant expression on his face as he let Maia zip up his coat, before moving onto Zeus who shifted on his feet impatiently. Beside them, Hercules stuffed his hand into a packet of crisps, pushing the contents into his mouth, crumbs littered across his lips. Maia sighed, using her fingers to clean his face, before buttoning up his coat and prying the crisps from his grasp.
"Put your gloves on."
"I don't want to."
Maia's eyes met Hades, her eyebrows furrowing, "Then you won't be going outside."
The ten year old boy stared up at her, his face blank, "Dad said that we're wolves."
Maia rolled her eyes as she threw the crisps in the bin, ignoring the crestfallen expression that appeared on Hercules' face as his mouth fell open. "Mum!" He whined, Maia ignoring him.
"Wolf or not, I'm not having you getting sick," She told Hades, whose eyes narrowed slightly, before he grumbled under his breath as he realised that she wouldn't be giving up, shoving his hands in the pockets of his coat to grab his gloves. "I want you to go straight to Granddad's house, no straying off," She instructed.
Hades nodded, not really paying attention, already turning towards the front door.
"We're going to Granddad's?" Zeus asked, green orbs widening.
Maia sighed, "Yes, now stay close by your brother."
"Which one?" Zeus asked, flashing a doubtful look towards Hercules who had now crossed his arms over his chest, sulking over the loss of his crisps.
"Both," Maia replied, eyes shifting to where Hades was waiting by the front door, impatiently. "I want you all back by four," She told them.
"Six," Hades called.
Maia bit back a remark as she heard Adonis walk down the stairs, his tired eyes meeting hers as she looked over her shoulder. "Do as your mother says," He told Hades, his voice leaving no room for argument.
A groan escaped the young boy, but he nodded nonetheless.
Adonis stretched, his t-shirt rising to reveal his midriff. Maia watched his lips spread into a smirk as he winked at her, grin widening as a faint blush appeared on her cheeks. "Boys, time to go," Adonis told them, eyes not moving from Maia's. She rolled her eyes, smiling as she turned to see Hades turn the handle and pull the front door open.
"Bye," He called over his shoulder, walking out into the snow, Zeus and Hercules hurrying to catch up to their eldest brother, the door being slammed shut behind them.
Once they were gone, Maia sighed, turning to face Adonis, "Where's Artemis?" She asked.
"Sleeping at Leto's."
He stepped closer to her, hands snaking around her waist, pulling her closer. He lowered his head, taking a deep breath, eyes closing as he breathed in her scent. "We can't," Maia laughed as his lips pressed against her skin.
"Why not?" Adonis pulled back, smirking down at her. "Five is my lucky number."
Her mouth fell open as soon as she understood what he meant, frowning at him, hand reaching up to slap his chest. "Unfortunately for you, four is mine," She laughed at him, pulling away.
Adonis followed her into the kitchen, "Come on, this is the only time we don't have a house full of kids. We've got hours before they come back."
