Hades

Khan watched as Hades took a tentative step towards the door. Immediately, Aslar tensed, his burly form growing rigid. His eyes flashed in warning, his top lip curling back into a snarl. Hades froze. His eyes snapped towards Khan, and his small body shivered.
"I want to go home," He said. His hair was tousled, falling into his eyes, and he sucked his bottom lip between his teeth. Aslar snorted, but kept his gaze glued to the younger wolf.
Khan stared down at Hades, his lips pursing. "You don't know who we are?" He asked. Hades lifted one shoulder into a shrug, his expression nonchalant.
"I know who you are," He stated. His gaze shifted to Aslar, "Who is he?"
The Beta growled under his breath, taking a step further into the room. Khan's head snapped towards him and he raised his hand in warning. His eyes still focused on the young wolf, he said, "He is Aslar. My Beta."
If Hades felt fear, he definitely didn't show it, Khan watching his eyes trail up and down Aslar's form in a way that had the Beta's eyebrows furrowing. Turning back to Khan, Hades' jaw clenched, "And?"
"Why, you little-!"
Aslar made a move towards the younger wolf, but Khan immediately moved so that he was standing between them. "What did I say about harming him?" Aslar mumbled something under his breath, his arms crossing over his chest and his eyes narrowing. It was obvious that he didn't like Hades, but for what, the young wolf had no idea.
But instead of asking, he kept his mouth shut, his hands secured between his legs, his face blank. Khan peered down at him, his features scrunching into a confused frown.
"You don't remember anything?"
Hades didn't answer. Aslar muttered something that sounded like 'I don't have a problem with reminding him,' but his words were ignored by both his Alpha and the small wolf who stood in the middle of the room, slightly bewildered. The room fell silent, and Hades felt the air grow thick with something that made him shift awkwardly on the spot. His eyes kept shifting between Khan and Aslar before he noticed the expectant expression on the former's face.
"No," Was his short reply.
At this, Aslar snorted. He didn't even remember killing Anna. "This is a joke!" He finally snapped. He ignored the warning glance from his Alpha, stepping closer to Hades whose eyes had doubled in size as he now gawked at the Beta who easily towered over him. "You kil-!"
"That's enough!" Khan snapped, his hand shooting out and wrapping itself around Aslar's bicep. The Beta panted, anger surging through him, but even as his Alpha began to tug him towards the door, he didn't let his eyes move from Hades until Khan yanked the door shut, locking Hades inside. As soon as the key had turned, Khan whirled around, grabbing the front of his Beta's shirt. "What did I say to you?"
Aslar's jaw clenched angrily and his eyes darkened. "He killed her," He snarled.
"It was an accident," Khan reminded him, hoping to reason with him, but his comment only earned him an eye roll and a frustrated scoff.
"He slaughtered her," Aslar spat. "He took her and dragged her until he ripped out her thro-"
He was silenced, Khan's hand slapping over his mouth, muffling his words. "I'm warning you, Aslar," He murmured, his eyes quickly glancing at the door. "I made you Beta because you were the best man for the job."
Aslar huffed, his hands shoving Khan backwards until he was free from his grasp.
Khan stepped closer, his index finger pointing in his face. "Do not make me regret my decision," He warned him.
