Leo Valdez

As we walk towards Jason's cabin I reach down grabbing Piper's soft hand. Staring down at our interlocking fingers I let out a small sigh as the other campers turn to stare at us.

All too soon we reach Zeus' cabin, Jason's cabin, and to be honest I'm a little scared of becoming a very zapped kabab.

"Leo," Piper whispers meeting my eyes one last time before she let's go of my hand, "I'm sacred."

I smile reassuringly at her as I raise my hand knocking on the solid door. Instantly the door swings wide open and as we walk in, Jason just sits chilling on the end of his bed.

He has a smile plastered on his face as he greets Piper until he sees me. His eyes turn cold and for some reason I feel the air getting a little static and I'm putting my money on that it's because of how close Piper and I are standing.

"Get away from her freak."

If looks could kill I would definitely be dead.

Deciding it's best to give the two some privacy I start to turn around and head back towards the door until I feel Piper's small arms wrap around my waist yanking me back next to her.

"I'm sorry Jason but I can't do this anymore" I she starts, "You're changing and you're not the same person. I can't love this person you're becoming."

Silence. It seems as though the three of us in the room forgot how to breathe and to be honest I expected him to flip out and zap me with some lighting but instead he just starts laughing, "This is my replacement Piper? He's pathetic. At least I've been cheating on you with someone better."

As soon as he finished that sentence I pushed past Piper, jumped over and started punching Jason multiple times in his perfect face. I can feel the adrenaline surges through me as his blood starts to cover my fists, "Rot in Tartarus!"

Grabbing Piper's hand careful not to smear what I guess is her ex boyfriend's blood on them, I pull her out of his cabin sprinting back towards mine.

As soon as we reach my cabin I scoop her up, Piper instantly wraps her arms around my neck as she starts sobbing into my chest. I lay her down on my bed and climb in next to her pulling her into my lap. All I can do it whisper into her ear as she continues to cry.

"It's okay."

Over and over again.
