Valentine's Day

I woke up to "Astrid, you have several letters" I rubbed my eyes, yawned and started to put my hair into a messy bun. I walked downstairs half asleep and in my pyjamas "here you go" Gobber said handing me a bunch of letters.

Some had hearts on the envelopes and some were heart shaped cards, others had kisses on them and others had flowers. Valentine's Day. I opened a few whilst grabbing breakfast for me and cheese for Plagg.

"Who are they from? Anyone interesting?" Plagg asked when I walked into my room "admirers" I rolled my eyes and handed Plagg his cheese "for you" I added watching his eyes light up.

I read through a few more letters before leaving the house. As soon as I left I regretted it, I was swarmed by all the boys who had sent me 'secret admirer' letters. I managed to make it to the park whilst being followed "Astrid, date me!" I stopped in my tracks as they yelled things to me and was suddenly swept away.

"You alright?" Luckybug asked as he put me down on a nearby rooftop "thanks for the rescue back there, you really swept me away" Luckybug smiled as I said it.

"I'm fine thank you" I added realising I hadn't actually answered the question. "Good because I really like you... Wait... Did I just..." I could see his eyes widen and his face blush. I laughed "yeah you just said that out loud but that's alright, I like you too"

Next thing I knew he was giving me a kiss on the cheek "will you be my valentine?" He asked. I didn't need long to think and answered almost instantly "yes" I smiled.

"Well then m'lady lets get you back on the ground" he smirked before picking me up and swinging to the park where he put me down.
