The morning came quickly "hey Astrid, you awake?" Hiccup whispered. I rolled over and whispered "yeah" back to him. Next thing I knew he was hugging me from behind "so my lady, you ready to get up yet?" I felt myself smile.

"Suppose I should get up" I mumbled as I rolled out of the bed and landed on all fours silently "careful Astrid, your Cat Noir is starting to show" Hiccup laughed. I smiled and pulled him out of the bed, he fell and landed with a thud.

"I should get going" I laughed before transforming and jumping out the window. Before I managed to get to school I heard what sounded like someone being attacked so I headed to see what was happening.

I transformed back into Astrid to investigate "are you sure you want to do this as Astrid?" Plagg asked u certainly. I handed him some cheese "you need to recharge and it could be nothing, if I need you I know where you are" I replied.

What I saw wasn't an akuma but was still someone in need of help "hey! Leave her alone!" I shouted before I realised who it was "RUFFNUT!" I ran over to her. The guy attacking her came back over and I fought him until he backed away "thanks Astrid" Ruffnut smiled.

I helped her get up and saw the guy come back "Ruff, run" I said and stayed to stall for time. "You're either really brave or really stupid" he laughed. I took a step forward "personally I prefer brave, but I can see there is a bit of stupid right over there" I said pointing in his general direction.

I could hear Plagg lightly snoring in my pocket so he wasn't going to be any help. I can handle this without Plagg, I was in fights before him and I can handle myself I thought to myself. The man ran at me and I could see he had a knife which I skilfully dodged.

What I didn't see until it was too late was that he had a friend who also had a knife. I passed out and the next thing I knew I woke up in hospital, Hiccup sat next to me. "Hey" I said weakly.

"Astrid? What happened? How did you end up in that alley? Why didn't you go to school?" He asked. I could hear how worried he was "I got stabbed I think, I saw someone in trouble and went to help and because someone needed help" I answered. Hiccup gave me a hug forgetting about my wound "oh my Thor I'm so sorry" he apologised as soon as he realised.
