Sorry for a short chapter and not updating for a while!

Chapter 4

I have been driving for forty minutes, all windows down, feeling the ocean breeze. I have been driving on the road, looking at the migrating birds and watching as the other cars drive by. The song "Girls" by The 1975 is currently blasting through my old truck speakers. As I hum the tune, wind blowing in my hair, I hear a pop from my left side of the truck.

I veer over to the right and walk out of my truck. I walk over to the left, wind in my face and look down. Flat tire. Just my luck. Before I have time to get out my cell phone a black unknown car comes up behind me and brakes.

Many thoughts are going through my head. What if it's the same person who tailgated me the other night? I don't know karate, so I don't have luck. I can't drive away because of my flat tire!

I am bursted out of my thoughts when I hear the sounds of the car door closing. A gorgeous man comes out, chiseled jaw line, and stunning green eyes and black hair. White top blowing in the wind with black jeans and black boots. Jennifer get a hold of yourself.

"Would you like any help?" He says voice low.

"I..I sure," I say, blushing.

At least it's still dark from the early morning.

"Yeah my name is Matthew and I just couldn't help but notice your tire issue, do you have a spare?" He says, smiling and showing his pearly whites.

"Yeah in the back!" I say pointing to the back of the truck.

I watch as he grabs the tire and walks back to his car, getting the tools needed. How did he have that stuff in his car?

He goes back to the left of the truck and crouches down to fix the flat tire. As he takes off the flat tire, there's a screech.

Everything happens so fast. A car comes over and runs over his feet. He turns around, not in pain but instead his eyes widen with fear. "We have to go now!" He says, grabbing my slim shoulders and tries to put me in the car.

"No! I don't even know you! My dog is in the truck! Did you know that person in car?" I say all at once.

"It doesn't matter! Hurry go get your dog just don't have it pee in my car."

What a man.

I think back at the fact my truck still has a flat. Great, just my luck.

I run over to my truck and open the door grabbing my shaking dog and run back to the car.

"Don't take all day!" He says, shoving me into the car, running to the other side.

As I look in the car, I realize it's definitely a luxury car.

Matthew goes into the drivers seat and takes his keys clicking it and the engine right away turns on. Sweet.
