Explaining

My dad sat next to me and mom when he saw I was crying.

"I come home from the supermarket to find my daughter crying. Now tell me what happened?"

"Dad I'm fine. I guess good things dont happen to people like me." I said sobbing alittle

"You will tell me now what happened. Did that guy Andy hurt you already?" He said getting alittle mad

"I'm just a stupid bet dad." I said breaking down in tears

"Your a what?" My dad said confused

"Honey, Andy only took our daughter on a date because of a bet. He said it was before he even knew her." My mom explained holding my fathers hand

"He what?" My father said standing up quickly

"Dad sit down. I'm fine, I guess not every guy is going to like me. Not even Andy Woodland." I said holding tightly to his hand

"What was the bet?" He questioned

"Nothing dad it was to see if he can make me cry." I said begging my mom with my eyes not to say anything and she understood

"I will kill him." He said hugging me close to his chest

"Dad Im fine. Just a little hurt, but it will past by tomorrow." I mustered
