"Oh yeah," Taehyung laughed mid-bite, conversing with Hoseok, "I used to be in a gang. I 'resigned' from it, but I'm positive the members are after me. It's hard...but like, I could kick any of their asses."
"That's interesting," Hoseok said, "What gang was it?" he asked.
"If I told you, I'd have to kill you," Taehyung replied, causing an eruption of laughter from the table, "But look at this," he said, fishing around in his pocket, and eventually pulling out a bright blue switch blade, and flashing it to Hoseok, "I need to carry this around in case I get jumped. Have you ever been in a gang?"
"God, no," Hoseok said, shooing away the thought of it, "I've always done my stuff alone; there's less risk to it," he laughed.
"I get that—" Taehyung replied before being cut off by Jin, who was now standing up and tapping his wine glass with a knife.
"What's the big idea?" Taehyung asked Jin, confused as to why he threw a full-blown 'dinner party', as opposed to just inviting his friends over like usual."Yeah," Jimin added, "You've been planning this for weeks—it's obviously not because Hoseok has arrived!"
"Fine, fine," Jin laughed, taking a sip of the Chardonnay and setting down the knife, "I have an announcement—well, it's more of an invitation, that I thought would be better to bring up at an event than casually."
"You're so corny, babe," Namjoon groaned, stuffing his face with the meal.
"What's the announcement?" Jungkook asked enthusiastically.
Clearly, Jin's previous rejection of him never slowed him down. He was still very interested."I've bought seven plane tickets to Bangladesh today," Jin announced, playing a look of confusion onto every boy's face, "And I would like to bring all of you with me."
"This is a big deal, Jin," Jimin said concernedly, standing up, "You should have talked to us about it before you bought the tickets..."
"Yeah," Hoseok said, "There's no way I'm gonna be able to get out of the country—especially if what Yoongi said about the Most Wanted list is true," he explained.
"I already have that figured out," Jin said, running to the kitchen counter and fumbling through a drawer, pulling out a card and thrusting it in Hoseok's direction.
Fake IDs, Passports, Licenses, etc.
Hoseok fiddled with the card, eventually stuffing it into his back pocket, and shrugging.
"When would we go?" Taehyung asked.
"Well..." Jin admitted, "The flight leaves tomorrow afternoon," Jin bit his bottom lip as an explosion of "are you crazy's" and "you've got to be kidding me's" erupted from the boys. That is—until Hoseok stood up, shushing the crowd.
"I'll go," Hoseok said casually, "I mean, if you're serious about this," he insisted, flashing Jin the business card and causing him to grin.
"You've just met us!" Jimin interrupted, yelling, "What is wrong with you? Why are you even here right now!"
"I guess I just trust too easily," Hoseok replied, glancing at Yoongi, who he saw was already looking at him, "Maybe it'll be my downfall. Maybe you're all working for the government—and you're plotting to kill me. I have no idea! But this seems like a great way to go out in style," he laughed, causing Jimin to shutter.
"So we'll get the passport tomorrow?" Jin laughed.
"Sure," Hoseok agreed, "It's not like I'd survive in this house without you!"
