"P-p-princess?" I say with surprise as I see a girl dressed with a sleeveless black shirt with cute bangs covering at least half of her face.
"Hey guys!" she greets with a smile. Wow, I have never seen her smile like that before... I feel... weird...
"Can I join in?" the emo girl asks. This is odd. Isn't she supposed to be emo like in school? It is the first time I have ever seen her dress like that. I just stare at her.
"I don't know, let Leon decide," says Marielle. They just stare at me back for a good 10 seconds before saying, "Leon? Are you there? Snap out of it!"
"Wah?"
Oh yeah, I forgot I was still in video chat. Shoot! I'm blushing... I HAVE NEVER BLUSHED THIS MUCH BEFORE!!
"Leon? Are you there?" Kace adds with a confused look.
"Yeah, I'm here," I finally go back to my senses.
"Leon, are you okay? Why are you blushing?" asks Princess; which makes me blush even more.
"I'm okay. It's just... um...." Help!!! I need a good excuse. I can't think of any excuse!! Well, here goes nothing... "It's just it is sooooooo hot in my room right now."
Marielle looks at me with a mean look. I know, I just know that Marielle has probably guessed what is running in my mind right now... and I know they hate Princess.
"Hey Marielle, how's that famous web show of yours doing this week?" I suddenly change the topic.
Marielle took a few seconds to think leading up to her answer, "Well, it's going fine. This week, I'm going to have the Mayor of our town as a guess!"
"Cool, I love your web show, Marielle!" says Princess with a cute soft voice. Hmm... Marielle looks surprised. Marielle replied, "T-t-t-thanks, Princess."
"Hey, Leon... how's you and Rica going along?" Princess asks. "WHAT?!? How did you know that?" I reply with shock. How in the world did she know that? She's not a stalker, is she?
She replies with a cute chuckle.
"You're not a stalker, are you?" I ask her... and damn! I am freaked out.
"I am," she lets out another soft chuckle before adding,"just joking!"
"Marielle, Kace.. watch out, we have a joker here!" I say in a joking tone. Both Marielle and Kace let out a burst of friendly laughter; while Princess lets out a slightly louder chuckle. But for some reason, she's trying to cover her face from view. It looks like I am the only one that noticed, so I let it pass without a word.
"Hey Princess, want to hang out with us sometime?" I ask with a friendly voice.
"J-j-j-join you guys? You mean you're not mad at me from the incident this afternoon?" she shyly asks.
"Well, I for one am not," says Kace
"Me as well," adds Marielle
Oh, right... Kace and Marielle, I almost forgot they were there. Heh heh, I guess that I got too distracted from Princess' beauty to notice them.
"How about you, Leon?" asks Princess in a worried tone.
"Me? I'm good. By the way Princess, want to seat in the same lunch table with us tomorrow?" I ask.
"Really?!" she bursts out a surprised look then suddenly looks away to cover her face with her black silky hair.
"Yeah, really," I reply with a huge smile. I look toward's Marielle, she looks like she wants to say something.
I ask her, "Hey Marielle, you look like you want to say something."
She looks at me with a surprised look. "Ummm... yeah..." she says unsure.
Kace speaks up and says, "What is it?" "Umm.. the Mayor just called, he said that I can bring 6 of my friends to the town hall during the interview, Leon, Kace, Princess, want to come?" Marielle asks us.
"Sure!" all three of us says together.
"Great! Now I'll bring along Ezekielle, Rica and Pheonix as well."
"Wait, Pheonix?!" Princess says in surprise. "You know him? But he's an old friend that lived out of town," Marielle replies.
Princess shows a freaked out face and says,"The name just sounds familiar..."
"Hey guys, it's already midnight. I have to go to sleep to get ready for school tomorrow, bye guys!" Kace says.
"You know what, me as well, its getting late," I say.
"Same here," Marrielle says.
"Me to," says Princess. With that, everyone logs out and turns off their computers.
-The Next Day 10:00 AM- - School Halls -
Hmm... it's finally break time... it's time to talk to Princess. I wait for everyone to vacate the room. Then, I stepped forward towards Princess.
"Hey, Princess!" I say delightfuly to the girl; for the first time I'm seeing her with no bangs and a smiling face in personal.
"Hey Leon!" she replies as she awknoledge my presence.
