I sat at the side of the court as the team practised. Koushi let off a loud sneeze and wiped at his nose from his place in the line to be served .
"Suga, are you okay?" Daichi asked, taking a step away from his sneeze
"I'm fine" he said, flushed in complexion. I stood up and walked over, putting my hand on his forehead to feel his skin flushed and hot under my hand. He jumped a little, not knowing I'd walked over.
"You're burning up, Koushi!" I said worriedly
"I''m fine" he said, then coughed violently over the end of the sentence.
"You need to go home" I crossed my arms firmly over my chest
"She's right, Suga, you don't look so great" Asahi said in his usual worried tone as the team started stopping what they were doing.
"I'm fine, really" Koushi said, hen his knees buckled suddenly and I did my best to grab him before he fell - Daichi doing most of the lifting.
"I can take him home" Takeda-sensei spoke as him and Ukai came over "my car only has one spare chair though" he said, giving a look of sympathy to my worried expression as I held my cousin up who looked like he might throw up.
"I can walk you home later" Yuu offered from next to me
"Okay, okay fine" Koushi said, standing up on his own - his face gone pale and green.
"I'll check on you after practice" I said as Takeda took my place to help him towards the door.
"You worry too much" Koushi laughed weakly
"It's a Sugawara trait" I smiled slightly as he left.
I sat bubbling away in worries about my cousin as they practised more. I sat chewing on a piece of bubble gum - I'd picked up the habit after the Nekoma game and in all honestly I blamed Kiyoko for giving me that one piece.
"He'll be fine, Suga-chan" Kiyoko spoke as the boys started putting the nets away.
"I know" I sighed "I'm just a worrier - it runs in the family" she gave me a reassuring smiled as the boys came out from the changing rooms.
"You ready to go?" my boyfriend grinned at me, it made me finally crack a smile
"Yeah" I nodded, standing up from the bench and brushing at my school skirt. He waved goodbye to his team mates as we headed in the direction of my house. Once we were a suitable distance from the school, his slid his hand into mine. I smiled and then flinched as my stomach growled, Yuu's face became concerned.
"You hungry?" he asked and I nodded "Do you wanna go get dinner somewhere - my mom's at a meeting tonight" I dithered for a moment - wanting to get back but I'm sure he was okay so I found myself nodding "So where do you wanna eat?" he asked, stuffing his hands into the pockets of his jacket.
"I don't mind" I shrugged
"You like sea food, right?" he asked
"Love it" I grinned and he nodded with a small smile
"I know a place" he added as we walked towards the main city square of the town. He turned a corner and took me into a small seafood cafe I'd never noticed before.
"This place is so cute" I grinned, Yuu smiled at the place and lead me inside.
"My dad used to take my mother and I here when I was a kid" he said, sitting down at the counter by the kitchen and I perched next to him, he never really talked about his father - the only thing I knew was he died when Yuu was pretty young "he used to supply fish here"
