The boys stood getting their pep talk from Ukai after the match. My eye caught the setter from the other team sitting at the side of the court a few feet from me tapping away at a hand held game system. I took a couple steps, leaning over this shoulder to look at what he was playing he didn't seem to notice my presence until I gasped - making him flinch in shock.
"You got the new Magic Mystica game?" I asked
"Y-yeah" he said, colour dusting his cheeks as I sat myself on the floor beside him - watching him play.
"I waited in line for it" I pouted "but they sold out before I got it - how is it?"
"The best so far" he deadpanned and I signed sadly
"Damn, I'll need to get it at the next batch release" I huffed, I noticed he'd stiffened considerably at my presence "I'm not bothering you am I?" I asked
"No" he shook his head
"Okay..." I said slowly
"You can borrow it, if you want?" he asked, shutting his handheld off.
"R-really?" I asked, my eyes widening
He shrugged "I've completed it already - I'm sure I'll see you at our next match with Karasuno"
"Thank you" I grinned "Sorry, I didn't catch your na-"
"Oi, Kenma!" came a deep voice and the two of us looked up to see that staring third year with messy hair. His name had already slipped my mind after Ukai told me earlier "talking about gaming is no way to flirt with a girl"
"I asked the question" I raised an eyebrow and he seemed shocked at my shooting back a response so quickly
"A gamer girl, huh?" he said, his smirk reappearing and I rolled my eyes
"I just like the series" I crossed my arms, still chewing on my gum indignantly.
"What can I call you, bubblegum-chan?" he grinned
"Sugarwara Aimi" I cocked my head "what about you; bedhead-kun?"
Kenma snorted slightly as the black haired boy laughed "Kuroo Tetsurou" he smiled at me "Can I be bold and ask for your nu-"
"I have a boyfriend" I said, hand on hip
"That's a shame" Kuroo responded - seemingly unfazed by me shutting him down "it was nice meeting you anyway, bubblegum-chan"
"What was the point in asking for my name if you don't use it?" I chuckled, he seemed alright - giving up on asking me out now he knew it wasn't gonna happen. He just shrugged as Koushi called to tell me we were leaving.
"I better go" I sighed, standing up - followed by Kenma who ejected his game cartridge and handed it to me "thanks a million - it's so nice of you"
"Not really" he shrugged and I smiled anyway
"I'll probably see you guys later - bye Kenma, bed head -kun"
"Catch you later, Bubblegum-chan!" Kuroo called as I walked over to join Yuu - letting off a small giggle - raising a hand to wave goodbye to Kuroo and Kenma as I followed Yuu out the door after the Karasuno team. He frowned slightly as the game in my hand.
"What's that?" he asked
"Kenma lent me it" I smiled "it's that game I waited in line for"
"Kenma?" he raised an eyebrow
"The setter for Nekoma" I shrugged "he said he was finished with it"
"Oh" Yuu said quietly and I looked over to see him pouting slightly and I couldn't help but smirk
"Are you jealous, Yuu-kun?" I lowered my voice so only he would hear
"N-no!" he stammered
I giggled at his red complexion, slowing down to let the team turn the corner so we were out of sight before I placed a kiss on his cheek "don't be - you're the one for me" ans with that I skipped ahead to catch up with the team - Noya following me - his face totally red. Which lead Suga to ask if he was okay cause he looked ill and I just smirked from beside my cousin.

I sighed as I stared at Yuu's door in front of me - it was just leaving 12 o'clock on a relatively warm March morning. I felt the bento in my hands radiating heat onto my skin and I jabbed the doorbell. It had been a couple days since Karasuno's defeat to Aoba Joshi and the boys were crushed. Noya had been very distant - not really talking to me and when he did the most I could get out of him was a couple words. I'd woken up at a ridiculous hour this morning to make this - Koushi had been taking Tsukiko to school. I'd told my mother I was at Hinata's with Kageyama studying and needed lunch as a cover for making it when in reaity I'd spent hours making Yuu's favourite food. The plastic bag in my other hand had 7 of his favourite popsickles - I'd cleared out Ukai's store but he didn't seem to mind. I really wanted him to cheer up. His mother pulled the door open, putting on her coat as she looked like she was in a rush.
"Ah, Aimi, lovely to see you" she beamed "Yuu's up in his room - I'm late for work"
"Thank you, Nishinoya-san" I smiled and she waved at me happily as she ran down to her car. I walked into the house, closing the door softly behind me. I could hear soft, rock music playing from Yuu's room as I walked up the stairs. I pushed open the door to see him lying on his bed, his eyes closed as he bobbed his head slightly to the music. I smiled as I walked over, him not realising I was in the room until I threw myself on to his lap.
"Boo!" I shouted and he let out a loud, girly scream - his eyes flying open and I giggled as I looked down at him.
"Aimi-chaan" he groaned "you scared me!"
"That was the goal, dumbass" I grinned cheekily and he huffed. I rolled my eyes, leaning down to press a kiss into his pouting lips.
"Why are you here?" he smiled slightly, his hand brushing against my thigh that was around his waist.
"I brought you lunch" I said, getting up off his lap and grabbing the food from the floor as he sat up on his bed, running his fingers through his gravity defying hair. I sat down on the floor in front of him, handing him the box. He smiled and it made me happy to see him feeling better.
"GWAA!" he gasped as he opened it and the smell of my aunties recipe for Tonkatsu drifted into the room "you made me this?!"
"Yeah" I blushed, his lips suddenly crashed into mine and I felt my eyes widen for a second before kissing back
"You're the best girlfriend" he grinned happily, dashing from the room suddenly, coming back a minute later with two sets of chopsticks "At least share it with me" he threw himself down on the floor in front of me and started jamming food in his mouth. I just smiled as I put my chopsticks on the floor - letting him eat the entire thing to himdself.
"What was the occasion?" he asked, sauce on his cheek
"I just wanted to cheer you up" I said, rubbing it off with my thumb - making me think of our first kiss and in turn smiling. I kicked the bag of raspberry popsickles towards him.
"You're too nice to me" he shook his head as he ripped a popsickle from the packet and snapped half of it off.
"I just like it when you smile" I mumbled as he bit off the other half. Once he's finished, chewing his hand came over and brushed the hair behind my ear.
"Thank you, Aimi" he said softly and I felt heat rush to my cheeks at the lack of honorific "hey, listen, I was think we should go on a proper date this weekend"
"Yeah?" I smiled as he stood up, tugging me with him as he flopped on to his bed. I blushed as I curled into his side, his fingers tracing the line of my spine.
"Yeah" he pressed his lips into the crown of my head
"Where do you wanna go?" I asked
"I have an idea" he grinned happily
"Can I know?" I giggled
"Nope" he popped the p "It's a surprise"
