It was a beautiful day in Akademi High. The sunlight shone brightly through the windows, birds were chirping, and the beautiful cherry blossom were blooming above... It was such a nice day to have a walk around the school, talking with friend, have fun with them...

Somewhere near the cherry blossom, on a bench, there sat a school girl. Her black hair blown slightly as the wind came by, along with the pretty pink petals. Her dark grey eyes were half - lidded and filled with sadness. She was all alone. No friends, no joy... just herself and the cherry trees.

Her name was Melissa Nivans, but she called herself "Yandere-chan" as a nickname. A long time ago, she thought she could feel no emotion, no love at all... until she met him, her Senpai, Dipper Pines.

When she first saw him, her heart beat fast so sudden. That was when she could feel love... for the first time of her life. She cannot understand why she had so strong feeling for him.

Why him? Why not someone else? It's just so strange... But no matter what, she knew she only had him, she can't lose him! She was just too shy to confess to him.

That's why she had to do everything to claim him as her own, even that means hurting and killing others, her rivals, her friends... But she didn't care, all she want was her Senpai, her only love.

"How selfish was I back then..." She mumbled to herself as she looked down, watching the petals fall on the ground.

She had killed so many people that her uniform was stained with blood. She had gotten away many murders, even the police couldn't find out who was the murder.

She had used so many tricks: write a message to meet at the rooftop, then pushed them until they fell off and pretended that they ended their own life; wearing artist's outfit to make others students ignored the "red paint" on her; took panty shots, placed answer sheets in their desk, placed ring and cigarette in their bags, spread rumors until they got expelled...

She had done many awful things without regret. She even succeeded in helping Zoe and convincing her to give up on Senpai.

With those things, she could have won his heart, but she couldn't. Was it because she failed to stop her rivals from confessing to her Senpai?

The answer is... no.

No one got in her way.

She gave up by herself.

"How silly was I, trying so hard for nothing"

She remembered the day she finally made that decision.

Flashback...

Yandere-chan hid behind the cherry tree, watching as Lyssa-chan was having a "friendly" conversation with her Senpai.

"So... have any news today?". Senpai said. His voice was just like music to her.

"Nothing new..." Lyssa-chan said, lifting her hair. Yandere-chan hated it when she did that.

"Say... remember when we used to play chase under the cherry trees when we were little?" He looked up as the wind slightly blew the petals.

"Yeah, such sweet memories, right Dipper-kun?" She hated Lyssa-chan for calling her Senpai "Dipper-kun". Only her could call him that. She know they were close because they were childhood friends, but she can't bear the thought that she was left out.

"Hey Dipper-kun, my friends think that you are cute, handsome and attractive, and so do I"

"R- really? Thanks..."

She winked at him. Yandere-chan can feel anger built up in her. She hated her flitting with him. She forbad her to. With her blood-stained knife in her hand, she could stabbed Lyssa-chan immediately, but with her Senpai there, all she could do was stand there.

"Hey, wanna have lunch together on the rooftop at?" Lyssa-chan asked when the school bell rang.

"Sound great. See you later".

As the two of them separated, Yandere-chan secretly watched Senpai went to his classroom, then left for her class. Her next period was Chemistry, so she could learn to poison student's food and lunch.
