This morning;
I got up to the sound of continuous beeping of my alarm and I didn't want to get up but I say up anyways. I heard the door creek open and didn't see anyone then suddenly my cat Bear jumped up on the bed and scared the actual living shit out of me. I fell over and was breathing hard, then I finally decided to get up and change. Jeez this was not my morning.
"Bear please don't do that again", I said rethinking my life because I was actually talking to my cat. Then the phone rang, all I had on was a T-shirt and my underwear as I was changing. I ran down the hall and into my tiny kitchen where the phone was, I picked it up and answered," hello this is (y/n)".
"Oh hello, I know this is weird but you have a band right? I heard of you guys on Instagram and you are from columbus, right?" Said the mysterious man on the other line.
"Um first of all how did you get this number? And yes I do but nobody ever calls about it, we are a very unpopular band." I said back
"Oh I should introduce myself, I am josh Dun. I came across one of your performance videos on Instagram and I think you have a beautiful voice, me and my friend tyler would love for yo..."
"HOLY SHIT! YOU ARE JOSH FUCKING DUN!? ARE YOU SERIOUS I AM FLIPPING OUT RIGHT NOW!!! I KNOW WHO YOU ARE JOSH!!" I said out of breath from yelling and feeling bad because I probably hurt his ears.
He was quiet for a minute, then he spoke again "oh well I'm glad you like our band, then I assume that's a yes to my question then?"
"Wait what question? I'm sorry I interupted you josh." I replied much quieter than the first time.
" well we wanted your come meet us at the coffee shop downtown soon for a band meeting, we want you to be part of the band." Josh said casually expecting me to say yes immediately.
I couldn't speak, I died and came back to life and just stayed silent then squealed for a long time. "Ummmmmm josh, I would love to be apart of your band! I can't wait to meet you and Tyler!"
