Chapter 12

Lauren's POV:

Audrey came back and started Mulan. It made me smile that she came to pick me up and let me pick any movie of my choice to watch. I can't believe how poorly I've treated her yet she has put everything on hold for the sake of my feelings and to know that I'm happy. "Everything okay?" I ask Audrey. "Yeah just my mum telling me that they'll be home in a couple of hours." She smiles before taking a place next to me.

The movie ended and by the end of the film I had my head on Audrey's shoulder while holding one of her hands. She had her other hand wrapped around my waist and was softly running her fingers gently up and down the side of my body.

Each touch sent shivers up and down my spine. I could honestly stay in her embrace forever. There was something about her that I was drawn in by and it felt like with her nothing could touch me. I felt safe and warm and being by her side everything will be better.

The credits for the film were still rolling but we just stayed still holding each other and enjoying one another's company. Well I'm not a mind reader so I can't exactly tell you if she was enjoying it but I was and she wasn't complaining. It wasn't until I yawned that words were spoken.

"You tired?" Audrey Asked.

"Mmm it's been a long day and crying has literally drained me mentally and physically.

"You know you can sleep if you want to?"

"You sure? I mean aren't you tired?" I asked her.

"Not really but, don't stay up on my behalf. I'll just go into the spare room and let you sleep in peace." She said letting go of my hand before starting to move to get up.

"No.. I mean there is enough room in here plus it's your bed. Stay please." I say a bit too quick but trying to cover up I was happy enough with how we were currently before holding on her arm.

"Okay I will." She smiles.

"Hey umm Audrey?"

"Yeah?"

"Can I cuddle with you?"

"She doesn't say anything but just simply nods her head before turning the bedroom light off and leaving the bedside lamp on. She then settles back down on her pillows. I move closer to her and put my arm lazily around her stomach. She does the same holding onto me close before kissing my forehead. "Goodnight Lo." She whispers before I fall into a safe and warm sleep.

Audrey's POV:

I woke up a warm light air hitting my on the side of my neck. I then realised what happened last night and Lauren staying over. It was one of the best sleep I've had for a long time. Not long after Lauren fell asleep I did, usually I'm awake when my parent's come home but even then I didn't even stay awake long enough to say goodnight to them.

I don't want to move much in case I wake Lauren up but I was really hungry. You know nothing comes between breakfast and I... Well except Lauren at this point in time but I didn't really mind too much.

I slowly try to slip away from her embrace and was almost out of her grasp when I saw her stir. She half asleep and still didn't open her eyes when she said "Audrey?" it comes out more of a question.

"Morning Lo, go back to sleep I just need to do something" I tell her. "mmm okay" she says before snuggling her head back into the pillow. I pull the covers up over her body and remove the couple strands of hair away from her face and tuck them behind her ear.

I make my descent down the stairs to the kitchen and see mum's already up. Sometimes I wonder how much sleep they even get sometimes. Dad's not there so I presume he has already gone to work. I don't know any person more hard working and dedicated than my father. "Morning Mum." I say. "Morning sweetie, how did you sleep?" she says looking up from her newspaper. "Yeah pretty good actually. Lauren is still asleep though."

"I saw last night, you were both sound asleep. I didn't want to disturb you since you both looked so peaceful. What happened anyway?"

"Long story but the person Lauren was seeing sort of, his band mates and him were just being really disrespectful to her. He didn't say anything and just laughed with them in an interview. Lauren felt humiliated as well as reading the amount of hate too." I explain to my mum.

"Oh wow, that's disappointing. I'm glad you decided to bring her here and distract her from it all."

"Me too, I'm glad I could." I smile "just going to make her breakfast."

"Aw, and excuse me missy where is mine?" mum joked.

"Sorry mummy next time, But I can make you a cuppa tea?"

"Oh yes, a cuppa tea would be lovely dear."

I finished making breakfast for Lauren along with getting a class of orange juice for her and making mum a cuppa tea. I put the food and drink on my bedside table. I would have left Lauren to sleep but we had to be at the studio soon.

"Lo babe, wake up." I nudge her softly on the arm.

"Hmmmm." She mumbles while rubbing her eyes and sitting up.

" I made you breakfast. I didn't know what you wanted so I did a variety of things."

"Audrey it's okay thank you, you didn't have to do that for me."

"I know but I wanted to make you breakfast."

"I'm going to have my shower and that while you eat, but I'll get you a towel so you can freshen up as well."

We arrived at the studio not so much was exchanged word wise (verbally) but we have been holding hands nonstop. Even while walking into the studio. The other girls, Mahogany, and Jacob were already there. Shawn wasn't but I knew he'd be here soon.

"Hey girls" walking into the room where they were sitting.

"Haii ralph." Dinah got up and hugged Lo.

"Hey babe" she said wrapping her arms around her while Dinah and Lauren spoke I sat down next to Mila. I didn't get the chance to really talk with anyone as soon as Shawn arrived then the meeting began and more details about touring and what time to arrive on Saturday were all put into motion. I still couldn't believe that I was about to tour with my best friend doing something I love. It all seemed unreal but the tour bus, packing of suitcases and practicing songs were all part of what made it feel real. I guess the fun was really just about to begin.

A/N - short as hell and bad chapter but oh wells
