Chapter Thirteen: Tears

"Huh!?" I gasped.

"Um... My name is Toshi Hagiwara?..."

I stared at her features. Silver hair. Blue eyes. Just like how Natsume described her.

"Miss?"

I snapped out of my thoughts. "Sorry, you just look familiar."

Now it was her turn to stare. My eyes went to her neck as I saw a gold necklace shaped as the sun.

"I heard you call her Shi-chan all the time, so maybe that was you're nickname for her."

I recalled the memory.

"Shi-chan?..."

She gasped and hugged me.

"(N/N)-chan!!!" (nickname)

So it is her... "I can't believe  it's actually you! Where have you and Natsume been all these years!?" ヽ(#'Д')ﾉ

"S-sorry. I actually don't know what happened to him because we got separated before my birthday."

She gasped again.  "That's terrible! Whoever did that will pay! You poor little thing!"

I sweatdropped. "Eheh... Um, I have to go help Natsume right now. Wait right here."

"Eh!? No way! I'm going with you!"

I was going to refuse but then I realized she could get hurt if I leave her alone as well. "Okay, follow me."

I started running towards the van and found that it crashed and landed on its side, little flames starting to form.

I opened the back of the van found dead bodies.

Where's Natsume?

I started go panic. I jumped inside the van hearing Toshi call me.

"(N/N)!! What are you doing!?"

"Don't worry I'll be fine!" I yelled back.

I started to walk around trying my best to ignore the dead bodies.

"Natsume, where are you!?" I was getting really worried. "This isn't funny just come o-" I was cut off by an explosion from the other side of the van, turning it sideways.

"NATSUME!?" I started rushing and freaking out as I fell.

Where is he??

He's not dead (Y/N), you're going to find him and everything will be okay.

"(N/N) please get out of there! It's dangerous and he might've jumped out!"

I turned around and saw the other half of the van was in complete flames. I sighed and started walking to the front part of the van.

It's not on fire... yet. I tried to reach the door attempting to open it.

It was jammed. "Um... Toshi!?" I yelled fearfully.

"Yeah!?"

"Can you help me!?"

"Where are you!?"

"In front of the van!" Where else? The back is on fire. (^._.^)

It was then quiet. I assumed that she's making her way to the front.

"Ah... (N/N)..!?"

"Yeah!?"

"There's a little obstacle in the way... This might take longer than I thought."

I sighed again. I looked at the window which showed nothing but darkness and tried to punch it in anger but ended up injuring my hand. "Oww! What was that!?"
