"I had done everything that my work demanded of me.
I barely had any time left to spend on my own now."
I was in the fourth semester of the graphics department.
The college elections were approaching. We now just had a week in our hands. Each party was busy promoting their leaders' . Some losers tried bribing out the public while some tried harrasing for votes.
I belonged to the "Bosco's roots' party." My friend 'Harward' was the official leader of the team. We ruled past the last two elections. But this time another strong opponent team was rising as it seemed.
**(At the college canteen)**
"Heard another teams' on sound these days?"asked Harward.
Yes, seems so buddy. Don't you worry, no one can beat our butt! Our team'as gotta strong public voting rate.
"But dont you underestimate the power of an opponent team." said he in a warning tone.
Opponent! Well em not when its guided by a girl!( i said in a sarcastic tone).
"A girl?" he asked surprisingly.
Em yes a girl! Haha. Now girls' started guiding a bunch of idiots!
" Well have you seen that lady?" Asked he.
Em not really . Heard of a lot. Will have to meet that lill leader soon.
" Okay do it soon! Keep an eye on their strategies! I dont want a failure from a gal. Hope you do that better dude!"he said and went towards his school hostel. I smiled and came towars Eddy, who'was waiting for me at the lobby.
**(At the lobby)**.
A tall similar face leaning down the post facing me with a raging anger in his round bottled eyes. (Yes Edward he was)
Hi! ( i said in an innocent stoopy voice expecting to cool down his anger.)
" Hi buzzo ! How did you come so early?" said he in a hazzy annoying tone.
How can i keep my buddy standing so late! ( i said trying to bring down some sarcasm )
" Oh shut up! Have you got any idea how long i have been waiting for you!" Said he annoyingly.
I am sorry Edd, you know me well. Em i'm so careless . Sorry i made you wait for so long. ( said i in a soft tone as i always did to break down his anger )
" How well you know to blackmail me with that innocent look in your idiotic glance! You moron!" said he and smirked a side smile.
You know these elections right!
" Yeah wanted to ask you some thing! A lady's is heading a team? Is this news true? " asked he surprisingly.
Em"yeah i heard it too! These cute cheecks now started holding hanger in their soft delicate hands instead of painting there delicate nails.
( In in the meanwhile came some noise of various slogans being shouted, from the yard, we went closer to see and found the oppenent team campaigning! We stopped for a while to see that lady leader and....)
