The Dream Team

Aphmau groaned and lifted her head.
"Aph?" Katelyn whispered.
She rolled over and looked in her direction. It was dark and cold.
"Kate?" she moaned. "What in the hell happened?"
"That bastard Gene happened," she answered with a growl.
"Where are Zane Travis and Dante?" she asked.
"I don't know," the older woman replied apologetically.
The door opened. They both squinted as light streamed in.
"Hello ladies," Zenix greeted with a grin.
"Shut the hell up you dick," Aphmau hissed.
"Ooh, you're even more feisty than I remembered," he admitted slyly.
He stepped forward and squatted down in front of her. He grabbed her by the jaw and forced her to look at him.
"Ah, prettier too..."
"Stay the hell away from her you creepy son of a bitch," Katelyn panted angrily.
"I would advise you hold your tongue. Aphmau might be able to get away with it, but you're bait. Worthless to us," he warned.
The door creaked open again.
"Aw, Zenix. What did I tell you about scaring our guests?"
"But Gene, it's just too much fun," he complained, fake pouting.
He stood and walked off.
Gene took his place, looking at the bleeding cut on her forehead.
"Ah, sorry about that, I told Balto not to hurt ya," he apologized insincerely. He scowled and slapped her. Hard.
"That's my job," he growled.
The girls remained silent. They were screwed.

Aaron grew a bit testy when Sasha showed up. Hell, even Garroth and Laurance were pissed she followed them.
"I know my way around that factory. Admit it, you need my help," she pushed.
Aaron sighed. "Fine. But keep in mind, I don't trust you," he caved.
She nodded.
"Alright team, let's go," she joked, jogging off.
There was a collective eyeroll before the all followed after her.

When Aphmau woke next, there was a tray of food on the floor. She attacked it and began eating like a wild dog.
"Aphmau?"
She looked up and saw Dante chained in the cell next to her.
"Dante! Oh, dear Irene are you alright?" she questioned.
"Bruised and beaten, but hey, I'm alive right?"
She nodded and looked around. Zane was chained a couple cells off, bleeding from a head wound and unconscious. She spotted Travis at the far end of the room, his white hair a mess. He was watching her with those sparkling, entrancing lime green eyes of his. He was terrified, and Aphmau felt bad for him. He was the youngest one here. Katelyn was talking to him, trying to calm him down.
This wasn't good.
