Demon Night

A demon lives in our house

in our house, in our house

A demon lives in our house

all night long

He bumps

He thumps

He makes me jump

His back's got humps

His legs are stumps

He knocks

He rocks

He rattles the locks

He jokes and mocks

He steals my socks

A demon lives in our house

in our house, in our house

A demon lives in our house

all night long

Teddy Bear

My teddy bear is six foot tall

And sits there slumped against the wall

At night it unzips its furry skin

And out steps something tall and thin.

Every Night

Every night my father fills me with dread

As he sits at the foot of my bed

I don't mind that he speaks

In gibbers and shrieks

But for seven long years he's been dead god he stinks.

The Man Who Wasn't There

As I was walking up the stair,

I met a man who wasn't there.

He wasn't there again today.

I wish, I wish he'd go away.

When I came home last night at three

The man was waiting there for me

But when I looked around the hall

I couldn't see him there at all!

Last night I saw upon the stair

A little man who wasn't there

He wasn't there again today

Oh, how I wish he'd go away
