I went to the light. I spoke with the man himself. But clearly he wasn't ready for me. As I opened my eyes I realised I was in a hospital bed. There were so many monitors around me.

Then it hit me. I remembered before I blacked out that my belly was cut open.

"My..." I couldn't speak.

My throat was messed up, my face was hurting. I couldn't see properly out of my left eye.

"Oh my God you're awake!" I heard a familiar voice say as they ran out. "SHES AWAKE!!" The familiar voice shouted before running back to me. It was Taylor.

What was Taylor doing here?

Nurses surrounded me as two doctors gave orders. After about half and hour of fussing I was able to drink some water and speak properly.

"Where are my babies? Why don't I feel pregnant anymore?" I asked.

Everyone looked at me but no one answered.

"WELL?!?!" I tried shouting but all that did was cause discomfort.

Everyone looked at Mason; who frankly I didn't know why he was even here. But then I saw tears in his eyes.

"Mason.. Why is everyone looking at you? Where are my babies? Please... Someone answer me!" I pleaded.

Mason came over to me.

"V... Erm.. Well when we found you you had bled a lot. As you had been covered we didn't realise it was your stomach until the paramedics came. Anyway, when you was rushed straight to hospital they had to do an emergency C section on you to get the babies out.."

"But I have 3 months left!" I interrupted.

"Yeah.. So the babies were born prematurely. A boy and a girl..." He said.

I started getting emotional.

"I have a boy and a girl? Where are they let me see them please."

"V..." Mason said as tears streamed down his face.

I had never seen Mason cry. This worried me.

"Can someone tell me! Because Mason is struggling!"

"No no... I'm going to tell you... Due to the kidnapping and whatever they did the babies were born with infections. Really bad infections. The doctors did everything they could..."

"... Everything they could.. Mason you better tell me RIGHT NOW! Where. Are. My. Babies!"

"OUR!! You keep saying YOURS!! But they ain't just yours they mine too! Fuck!"

"Mase..." Gabby said.

"Naw man! I found her! My heart broke when I found her!" He then turned to me. "...My heart broke when G said you had no pulse! My heart broke when the paramedics looked like they couldn't save you! But I tell you what... My heart broke into a million pieces when I watched them try to bring to life OUR son and it never worked!" He said.
