Theresa awoke with a yawn and the rub of her eyes. She stood and exited the temple of Athena heading out to the mass of woods. She didn't have to brush her golden hair for it flowed down her back in absolutely perfect shiny curls. She didn't have to smooth out her dress from her rest, for it fit her just right and never wrinkled. These traits were given to her because she was the daughter of Aphrodite, not a proud one, but still a daughter of her.

She came to an opening of the forest were she emerged by the water. A man turned around to see where the sudden rustling came from. Comastus was busy fishing when he heard her. This was the time Eros sprung into action.

Once the arrow hit Theresa, she yelped, jumping into Comastus' arms. For a brief moment, they both gazed into each other's eyes. Blood rushed to their faces. Comastus quickly dropped Theresa gently to her feet.

"Um... hi... I'm,"

"Theresa," Comastus interrupted looking up dreamily from his interlocked fingers.

"I've never seen your face before, who are you?" Theresa shyly smiled up at Comastus.

"I am Comastus, son of Gladios, King of Patrai." He proudly stated.

"How do you know of me?" Theresa asked.

"Well I've been watching you and I had to know your name, for I love you..." Comastus' face turned a bright red.

"Well I think I may love you too..." Theresa smiled into Comastus' deep brown eyes, and he smiled back into her sea blue eyes.

And that was where their love story began.

The whole city of Patrai rejoiced at the news of the new couple. Aphrodite, too, was also pleased. Even those who fawned over Theresa before now lived to serve her and her soon to be husband. The whole city looked up to the soon to be king and his queen. Though there was on who couldn't stand Comastus.

Hypnos.

He believed that Theresa belonged with him, that they were connected. He felt deceived. He was furious. Out of jealousy, he formed a plan.
