Chapter 2

JESSICA'S POV:

I couldn't get the guy from the plane out of my head. The more I tried to forget about him, the more I ended up wondering who he was and what he was like. But I had to stop thinking about it. I'd probably never see him again so what was the point? To clear my head, I decided to go to Starbucks and get my favorite, a vanilla bean frappuccino. When I grabbed the door handle however, my mind blanked. Someone's hand met mine in an attempt to open it because neither of us were paying much attention to anything but our phones. It was HIM....

•A/N: holaaaa so I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter and had a fun and safe Halloween(even though it was a week ago lol)!

NIALL'S POV:

I was just about to open the door to Starbucks when my hand met something soft and warm, obviously not the door handle. I looked up from my phone to see the hand of the girl from the plane. She had shoulder length red hair and the most beautiful shade of hazel eyes I'd ever seen. She was quite a bit shorter than me, by about a head.

"Sorry," we said at the same time. We both stopped and stared at each other for a few seconds before bursting into fits of laughter. After composing myself, I introduced myself. "I'm Niall, and you are...?" I asked, somewhat hiding my face so she wouldn't recognize me. It seemed to have worked.

"Name's Jessica but call me Jess," she smiled. I must say she had a much prettier smile than mine; there was no metal glued to her teeth...

"Did you, uh, wanna sit down?" I asked her.

"Sure!"

I asked what she wanted to drink and after about five minutes of arguing over who was gonna pay, she finally let me get them both.

"So, you're obviously not from here....and you don't pay much attention to tv, magazines, twitter, or any form of entertainment for that matter do you?" I asked her.

"Um, not really," she confessed, "how'd you know?"

"Well for starters, you don't know who I am," I said, pulling my hood down.

"Oh. Em. Gee. You're Niall from that one show aren't you?!" she said, stifling a giggle.

"Nice try," I laughed, "but you're gonna have to try harder than that. I'm actually in one of the biggest boybands in the world. Ever heard of One Direction?"

Realization seemed to have hit her. "Oh no, my best friend is obsessed with you guys. The curly haired one is her favorite...."

"That's Harry, the youngest of the group. He's got the most perverted mind though."

"Well then if you're famous I guess, can I take a picture of us?"

"Course love, as long as you know that if anyone of our fans sees it they'll likely attack you or send hate. They like to do that, mainly directionators...."

"Directiwhators?" she asked.

"Directionators; fake fans of One Direction. Real fans are Directioners," I explained. Just then, my phone started ringing, signaling a message from Greg. "Sorry, I've got to go. I'm supposed to meet up at my brother's house for dinner in half an hour. Kind of a "welcome home from tour" party.

"Don't worry about it. It's cool," she smiled sadly.

"Here, give me your number, maybe we can hang out again sometime," I smiled.

"Sure," she said, typing her number in my phone as I put mine in hers. We both stood up at the same time and said goodbye. As I walked out the door, I couldn't get her out of my mind. I didn't want to wait until later to text her but I also didn't want to look like some stalker or something so I decided just to wait until I was done eating and visiting with my family.
