Chapter 26- labor

Nash pov
We just got out of the shower and got dressed. Now we are laying down and it's 9:30. Ashley being pregnant she's tired. I'm a little tired but I'm just going to let her sleep. She closed her eyes and I pulled her close to me . Surprisingly I was more tired than I thought. I closed my eyes and I drifted to sleep
Ashley pov
I wake up and look at the clock. It's 11 and I look down and the bed is wet. at first I thought I peed the bed but we have white sheets so it would look yellow but it looks white/ pink. Oh my god I think my water broke.
"Baby wake up" I said shaking Nash
"What is it" he said his eyes still closed
"My water broke " I said. Immediately his eyes opened and he sat up.
"We don't know for sure so let's go just us and if I am in labor then we can call everyone" I said
"Okay whatever you want baby" Nash said he grabbed the hospital bag from under the bed.
He carefully helped me down the stairs. Everyone was sound asleep

We arrive at the hospital and lucky Linda is standing there. "Linda I think I'm in labor " I say
"Okay Ashley come back here and we will check " she says putting her in a wheel chair. We get in her room and she checks "Ashley you are in labor. But your not dilated yet " Linda said
"Okay good " I say
"But the contractions should come soon" Linda said
"When " Nash says and I feel the pain.
"Owe" I scream
"Now, let's get you to the room so we can give you the epidural in time " Linda said wheeling me to the room
Nash pov
"Baby I will be back there in a few minutes I have to call everyone will you be okay" I say
"Yes hurry" Ashley says screaming in pain
I dial Hayes number first
N- Hayes
H- what is it bro I was sleeping
N-Ashley is in labor get everyone else up we are at the hospital
H- okay I'm down stairs right now
N-okay thanks Hayes bye
H-bye

I call Cameron. Thank god Shawn and jack g were over and they were in Florida
C-yo Nash what's up bro
n-Ashley is in labor. I know she wanted you guys here so get here as fast as you can
C- okay we're all coming we are 10 minutes Away
N-bye

I went into the room as the doctor is giving her the epidural. "We gave her the epidural but it takes 30 minutes to kick in, so she's still feeling pain" she says
"Okay thank you Doctor " I say.
I go by Ashley's side and hold her hand.
I brush her hair from her face. I get her hair tie from her wrist and tie her hair back
"Thanks baby " she says out of breath.
"Princess you have to breath " I said imitating breaths.
"I said I was ready for this baby to come but I'm scared " Ashley said crying
"Baby it's okay we have Hayes coming, Ryan, Ali, you mom and dad, Cameron, jack g , and Shawn" I said
"In here " she said breathing hard again
"No remember you said you wanted me, Hayes, Ryan and Ali in the room" I said
"Yeah let's keep it at that " she said
Linda came back in.
"Everyone you called is here .want me to send in Hayes, Ryan, and Ali " she said remembering
"Yes " Ashley said and I nodded
Linda pov
When Ashley came in saying she was in labor i was suprised but I can't wait to deliver her baby. She is like a daughter to me. I went outside.
"Hayes, Ryan , and Ali come in the rest stay outside " I said. They nodded. Ryan, Nash , and Hayes were staying up above Ashley's head and Ali is going to stay down where I am to help.
"Okay Ashley you are almost fully dilated just a few more minutes " I said. Her contractions were stopping because of the epidural
Ali pov
I was staying near Linda to help Ashley push and everything. " Okay Ashley you are fully dilated you have to start pushing " Linda said
But Ashley wasn't pushing I had to tell her.
"Ashley listen to me you were so ready for this baby. It's going to be okay. Push. Breath in and out " I said
And she started pushing
"That's good keep talking to her Ali" Linda said
"Just think of your baby. These whole 9 months you would look in the crib and imagine you baby being in there. Come on your almost there push " I said
"Breathe " I say and she breathes deep
"You and Nash talked about what he would look like. You told me one day that he would look just like Nash with pretty blue eyes and brown messy hair" I said smiling remembering her telling me. It made me want a baby with Ryan but not right now.i need to take care of Ashley.
"One more push Ashley and he will be here " Linda said
Ashley pov
Okay Ashley you are fully dilated you have to start pushing " Linda said. I wasn't pushing I was too scared
"Ashley listen to me you were so ready for this baby. It's going to be okay. Push. Breath in and out " alI. And I started pushing " That's good keep talking to her Ali" Linda said

"One more push Ashley and he will be here " Linda said. I pushed one more time and I hear a cry.
Everything from when I woke up with Nash after the party to now came flashing back. My baby is here
