Chapter 28- home

Ashley pov
I woke up and it takes me a minute to remember I gave birth early this morning. I see Ali fell asleep next to me. Nash fell asleep with a circle around Atticus Hayes. Hayes is In the recliner. I look down and most have my stomach has gone down. Most of it was Atticus Hayes and the other stuff. I plan after I get better to run and get my baby weight off.
Nash then wakes up and picks up Atticus and puts him in his arms then Atticus cries a little and Nash rocks him and gives him a bottle. He's so good with him. And I didn't  notice last night that Nash looks hot holding a baby.

"Good morning " I say
"Hey baby" Nash says standing up and still feeding Atticus. He puts him down in the changing station next to my bed and changes his diaper. I'm looking at Nash changing him and Atticus looks at Nash then me and smiles. "Oh my god he just smiled at us for the first time" Nash said then Nash tickles him. And he laughs. His laugh sounds like Nash's. It's so cute
"Aw his laugh sounds just like yours " I said
"We get to take him home today" Nash said looking at me "we finally get to see him in the crib " Nash said almost crying

Everyone has gotten up. Ali and Hayes are watching Atticus while I go in the bathroom with Nash and he helps me get dressed. I stand up and take the hospital gown off. I already have undergarments on but I want different ones on. So Nash helps me change those. Then he takes out some sweatpants and puts them on me. He takes out a Nash Grier shirt and puts that on then a cardigan over it then he puts my uggs on me.
"Thank you Nash" I say still week
"Anything for you" he says in a low voice rubbing the side of my face. Then I hug him. My emotions are still toying with me so I cry at first it's because I'm only 17  and I became a mother less than 12 hours ago then it's happy tears because Atticus is here.

We walk out of the bathroom to see Ali playing peek a boo with Atticus Hayes. "He didn't cry once all night" Nash says "he seems like a good baby " Ali said . Linda comes in. "Morning everyone. Ashley how do you feel" she says
"Well good other than my emotions" I say
"That's perfectly normal right after birth " she says
"When can I leave " I said
"Well you are free to go. Ryan signed the papers already " she said. I got my things but I got a piece of paper and wrote my number on it.
"Take my number Linda. I want to still be in Contact with you. You were such a great doctor to me" I said
"Ok thank you. Good luck with Atticus Hayes " she says as we walk outside. I forgot that Ryan left with his car so we all have to go in Nash's car

Atticus Hayes's car seat is in the middle back seat. I sit to the right of him and Ali to the left. Hayes sits I The passenger seat and Nash drives. We get home in 5 minutes. Nash carefully gets Atticus out.
"Look Atticus Hayes it's our house" Nash says
We walk in and no ones awake yet. Nash and I go upstairs. While I see Ali go in Ryan's room. Then Hayes goes to his room. Nash takes Atticus out of the car seat. "Atticus Hayes this is mommy and daddy's room. Now it's yours too. This is your crib " Nash says and puts him in the crib. I start crying

I go over to Nash and he puts his arms around me.
"I can't believe it just a few months ago we were standing here waiting until the day we brought him home and it's finally here" I cry out
" I know baby. Do you want to take a shower or bath I can put Atticus down " Nash said
"I need a bath " I said
"Okay let me put- " Nash said but got cutoff by the sight of Atticus he was already asleep.
"Okay bath it is " I said
Nash helps me strip down from my clothes and helps me into the bath. We have one of those shower heads that come off the wall and looks like a hose.

Nash puts the water over my head then washes and conditions my hair. Then he washes my body. When I'm done he helps me stand back up. He puts a towel over me and drys me off. Then he puts new clothes on me again. He puts pajama bottoms, fuzzy Socks, underwear, and a shirt on me. I get out of the bathroom and lay on the bed. I lay there watching him strip down to his boxers.he puts some shorts on then gets into bed next to me. I put my head under his neck. I look up and hes already looking at me. I give him a slow passionate kiss and then lay back down. "I will love you forever Nash Grier " I say then fall asleep

Nash pov
It's been 5 hours of Ashley sleeping and I get up gently trying to not wake her up. Atticus was crying for the first time other than when he was born. I walk up to the crib
"Hey buddy" I say tickling his feet and he laughs
I change his diaper then put his clothes back on. I thought he was going to sleep but he was awake. so I pick him up and go over to the bed. I have my head bent down toward Atticus face and he starts touching my nose like he's playing with it.
"Atticus look you see that beautiful girl right there" I say holding him upright so he sees Ashley.
"That's your mommy, I know what your thinking, daddy how did you get so lucky with mommy " I said laughing.

I look down and see Ashley has had her eyes open watching Me. "How did I get so lucky with you. You treat me like a princess and you are so good with our son" Ashley says
"Well I love you both so much. I'm trying to do everything right as a boyfriend and father I could never think of losing you both " I say
" Nash you will never lose us" Ashley says now sitting up next to me looking at Atticus.
"Hi baby mommy was taking a nap just like you were. Was daddy talking to you" Ashley said as Atticus puts his hands up and Ashley carefully holds it . "Nash. I love you " Ashley said. Then Atticus whines a little. "I love you too little guy " Ashley says as I give her Atticus. "Ash can I take a picture of you holding Atticus " I said
"Sure" Ashley said holding Atticus up.
"aw. Both of my baby's " I said. Ashley just blushed. That's what I like about her. Even though I've said she's beautiful, held her hand, called her baby or princess, and even had a baby with her she still blushes and hides her face after all this. It's cute when she does it.
