1 week later-
I heard my alarm go off. I didn't want to get out of bed. Honestly, I haven't done anything this whole entire week.
My sisters have been out with Luna, and my grandma has been busy with her stupid reading club. You would think she would like what ever old people like to read , but she into more gothic/ murder books which I find funny.
I sighed realizing I was drifting back off to sleep, but I should get up. I ran my hands in my hair, putting it into a messy bun.
I decided to get out of bed, but I got up way to fast so I felt dizzy. I slowly walked down stairs still half asleep.
"Cleo? Is that you?" I heard my grandma say.
"Yeah, where are you?" I said, I walked into the kitchen and she jumped out to scare me.
"AH!" I screamed. And she started to laugh.
"Grandma! That's not funny!" I said holding my hand on my heart and she was laughing so hard.
"Just think! You are more awake because I did that, and you're welcome." She said and I laughed.
"I guess so, are we going to the lake today?" I asked sitting on the counter top next to the sink and my grandma smiled, then moved next to me and started to do dishes.
"No, sorry Hun. You can totally go if you want to! But I thought about it and I want to help you make friends. Make you more social darling!" My grandma said putting her hand on my leg.
"What are you going for?" I asked taking my bun out of my hair and running my hands threw the tangles mess, basically getting it stuck every few seconds.
"Well, the lady's and I were talking about having a party! Usually we do it in September but we thought it would be fun to do it during summer. And also because I want you to make friends. So you can not be bored." She said taking a towel and drying her hands.
"Like what do you mean party?" I asked and she handed me the towel and a wet dishes for me to dry off.
"Like usually I invite the family's from each house to our house and we just BBQ and hang out! There's a lot of nice kids your age. And I feel like it would be a good experience!" She said with this glistening smiling on her face which shows me that it might be fun.
"Sure, but I not saying I will love it." I said and she smiled.
"Well.... that's kinda the spirt! I told everyone tonight to come over with food, no victims though. Last year the Elmerds family thought that we would like that..... lets just say it took a whole lot of explain and lawsuits.... never mind." She said and I laughed.
"Lawsuits? I want to hear this story." I said drying off the last dish.
"Well basically they thought that we drink human blood. And they kidnapped someone.... and basically luckily they didn't kill the poor person. And we let them go, they called the police... and that equals lawsuit." She said and I held back a smile.
"Ohhhhh my." I said laughing, I moved off of the counter.
"I guess I should figure out what to wear and sh.... stuff to wear tonight." I said almost saying shit but I caught myself.
"Ok honey." She smiled and I walked upstairs.
(Later to the BBQ)
7:30 pm~
Im sitting on the couch, its a old leather couch. My grandma told me that she had it since before she married my grandpa. Aka it's old as shit. It's a light tint of brown, with crease marks all around the cushions. It made it easier to find a comfy sitting way.
