Happy 1st year anniversary to me!! That’s right. It’s been exactly 1 year since I’ve joined wattpad!
This was the date that PTBBG was born and I’m so stoked to see the numbers multiply each day!
I love you all and thanks for all your support throughout the past year. You’re all my snigger’s! (ßAunt Darby inside joke).
You have no idea how you’ve made a girls dream come true :)
Not edited until end of book.

Even a bunch of spamming ‘UPDATE!’ and death threats really make my day

Chapter 24: Country Boy
Now, you know I wasn’t the type that gapped. Or dropped their jaw for that matter. But—damn. This surprise got me good.
My eyes were glued on the dirty, mud splattered truck that almost killed me. Then to Clint and—“Holy shitamoly,” I sputtered.
Clint. Was wearing. Ripped jeans. Ripped. Jeans. And, “Cowboy boots?!”
He made a sheepish chuckle. “Who knew they were so comfy? Apparently Western is in style.”
His comment would have normally got me laughing, but I was too struck by his t-shirt. I squinted to make sure I wasn’t seeing things and read the slogan out loud, “Save water. Drink beer.” A cartoon picture of a stoned man holding a jug was mind blowing.
Sure, I might have been surprised except now my next discovery was staggering.
“Is that a—it can’t be.” I poked his shirt to see if it was real. “A wrinkle?”
Clint grazed his hand over his unshaven and fine looking five o’clock shade. “It’s amazing how much free time you have when you’ve stopped ironing your clothes.”
This was impossible. Surely I was dreaming. Maybe all those dreams have built up and finally decided to become present. I have been avoiding and forcing myself to push away heart-warming dreams of Clint which included many long nights with coffee, and several daily pinches along my arm.
I was tempted to slap my face, but why do that when I had a water fountain behind me? Pivoting around, I splash a handful of water over my face and turned back. Country Boy Clint still stood.
