The Date

As you made your way out, you saw Ha Joon dressed up in a shirt with a coat over and black pants . He looked so breathtaking that you kept on staring at him . He saw you and walked towards you. "Keun solilo ib .... W-what took you so long?" , Ha Joon asked as he looked down avoiding eye contact ."Mianhae ... I was busy preparing.", you said. He gave you a confused look but then pulled you along outside the school gates.

You both reached the city and strolled around.You both were quiet until you saw an arcade shop with a small karaoke room and games. "PLEASE CAN WE GO THERE!!!", you exclaimed as your eyes glistened with curiosity. Ha Joon just stared at you with a lost look. He simply grabbed your hand and dragged you into the store.

You guys were sitting inside the karaoke room while singing songs. Honestly , you were extremely tired since you played for 2 hours straight. "Um.. Ha Joon, I'll be back from the restroom in a bit ok?", you said as you saw him nod.

You finally did your business and was starting to walk back when a group of 3 boys who looked about 2 years older than you started talking to you. " Aww such a cute girl. Hey wanna hang out with us... We will keep you good company.", the person who seemed like the leader said. As you started to walk faster, one of them grabbed your wrist . You were now trembling with fear. "Don't runaway, we just want to play with you.", the shorter boy said as the other guy went to touch you.

Before the boy could even touch you , you felt yourself being pulled away from them and being pulled into someone's chest. As you looked up , you saw Ha Joon. "H-Ha J-Joon", whimpered. "Why don't you guys leave her alone .", he said to the group. "Why!? What are you gonna do about it?", the leader said. Before he could think, Ha Joon punched him in the face and kicked him in the guts causing him and the other guys to flee in horror .

You felt tears trickle down your cheeks as you wrapped your arms around Ha Joon's torso. He silently stood in place as he get his cheeks heat up. "Wae ?!! Keun solilo ib.... Your so stupid ... Why didn't you run away from there .. Or why didn't you call for help. You should be lucky that I was searching for you since you were talking too long." He placed his hand on your head and started rubbing it back and forth as if he was trying to comfort you. You looked up and him and smiled as you asked,"You were worried about me weren't you!" Ha Joon's face flushed red. "Woh ?!!! Ani!!! Anyway, l-lets start heading back." "Aww but we still have like 3 to 4 hours until curfew.", you said as if forgetting everything that he just happened.

Nevertheless, Ha Joon pulled you out of the store as you started walking back.  This time  Ha Joon pulled you into a shop... A coffee shop... Your mom's coffee shop! You both sat in the corner of the shop near the glass windows.

" Y/N !" , you turned to your left and saw your mom. " Yah eomma! " , you waved to your mom who waved back and made her way towards your table. She saw Ha Joon sitting in front of you and smiled at him. " Now who is this ?... 😏Your boyfriend!!!!" , mom said as your cheeks were red as well as Ha Joon's. "Ani!!! ", you both said at the same time . "This is Ha Joon from school ". "Aww , I guess I have to wait huh until you get a boyfriend .",she said . " EOMMA !!!!!", you yelled in embarrassment causing some people to stare at you . "Fine, oh I'm sorry for the wait Ha Joon , what would you both like?" You both ordered mocha frapachinos.

"So... Why did you transfer here?",Ha Joon asked you . You paused for a while until answering. "Well, my dad got moved to being CEO after the head president of Aika retired, and my mom always wanted to live in Seoul and own a coffee shop ... So here we are.☺️", you said. You looked at him and saw him staring deep into your eyes but then both of you look away. "S-so what about your family?", you asked. " I only have my father who is not on good terms with me, but I have left him anyways." You start to see a glum look in his face. You hesitantly reach out your hand and put your palm on his hand and give him a reassuring smile telling him that you are there for him.

You soon say bye to your mom along with Ha Joon and head for the school with only 1 hour left until curfew.
