Dancing the night away;
9 years old
"How does soccer sound to you?"Brennan asks as I sit on his beanbag chair with a magazine and he sat on his bed and scrolled through social media I assume.
"Great"I say not taking my eyes up from the pages placed in my hand but somehow I could feel his eyes cover my body.
I tilt my head up from the page and face Brennan."What?"I ask while smiling at him as he still looked at me like a lost puppy.
"Oh nothing"He smiles while muttering something under his breath and going back to look at his iPad.
"Okay then"I giggle then looking back to the magazine.
"Hey,what sport are you thinking of doing?"He asks me
"Um gymnastics duh"I laugh
"Oh yeah sorry I forgot you already did one"He chuckles back to me.
"So are what are we gonna do tonight and tomorrow?"I ask flicking my page to the next.
"I was thinking movies tonight and swimming tomorrow"He kinda asks while scratching the back of his neck.
"Sounds great,wanna get started?"I ask closing the magazine and place in beside the beanbag.
"Sure"He smiles
"Race ya downstairs"I giggle before sprinting out of his room.
I heard his footsteps close behind mine.
Once we reached down stairs I saw Caleb and Katie dancing to 'Thinking out loud'which I found amusing.
They didn't realise we were standing right there.
They laughed at each other and there goofy dance moves.
"Since Caleb was 11 and Katie was 8 they wouldn't be interested in each other like that but some day in the future four years won't matter and I could see them as a couple,just saying"I whisper into Brennan's ear.
He nods with agreement.
When the song comes to the chorus I grabbed Brennan's hands and pulled him beside Katie and Caleb.
"What are you doing"Brennan laughed while looking at our hands that were still attached.
"Dancing"I smile while forcing his to twirl me around.
"How about you?"I ask when I finish my turn.
"Dancing,I guess"He laughs while u spin him around.
"That was unusual"He laughs as we randomly move our Arms and feet to the beat.
"Just like us"I smile at him
He just shook his head and laughed again.
Once the song finished Caleb and Katie clapped for us.
Brennan takes a bow and I take a curtsy.
"Thank you"Brennan days
"We will be here all week"I add on with giggle following my sentence.
More 'love' will begin to happen in the next 2-5 chapters or so.
